A must see if you're in Vienna.
We met our guide at the agreed upon spot by the Opera House. We had a great 20 minute tour around Vienna where we learned about all the important sites around town. Then we drove to the palace where everything went according to plan. Our guide, Sophie, was excellent. Learned so much about the palace and people that used to live there.

I booked an English...
I booked an English speaking tour and got an English and Spanish tour. It was very hard to follow since the tour guide would speak them both. I wasn’t able to get much history out of this tour. I felt like this was a waste of money and it would have been better if I just went there on my own. Very disappointed by this tour.
Response from the operator: Dear Larissa, thank you for your honest feedback! We truly appreciate feedback like yours to improve our offers. We are sorry to hear that you could not enjoy your tour as you expected and are disappointed in the service. It's understandable that this situation was upsetting and not a great chance to get to know us as tour operator. We will relay your review to our team as we aim to improve customer satisfaction. Once again we are sorry that you could not enjoy the tour you booked! kind regards, Your Vienna Sightseeing Tours Contact Center

Nice tour
Great tour ! Guide was vey knowledgeable . The only downside is he kept switching between English and Spanish in the middle of the sentence . It would be better if he completed the thought on English and the went to Spanish .

Good experience
This was a nice way to have a city tour without needing to walk and quick access into the palace. The guided tour was very helpful in managing both the crowds and understanding what we were looking at at the palace. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Skip-the-Line Schonbrunn Palace Guided Tour and Vienna Historical City Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Vienna.
How much does Skip-the-Line Schonbrunn Palace Guided Tour and Vienna Historical City Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $35 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Vienna usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Skip-the-Line Schonbrunn Palace Guided Tour and Vienna Historical City Tour take?
+
Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Vienna is not rushed.
Is Skip-the-Line Schonbrunn Palace Guided Tour and Vienna Historical City Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.7/5 across 951 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Vienna, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Skip-the-Line Schonbrunn Palace Guided Tour and Vienna Historical City Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Skip-the-Line Schonbrunn Palace Guided Tour and Vienna Historical City Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Skip-the-Line Schonbrunn Palace Guided Tour and Vienna Historical City Tour?
+
Around 333 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Vienna can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Vienna and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Skip-the-Line Schonbrunn Palace Guided Tour and Vienna Historical City Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Vienna within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Vienna?
+
On Outty we rank every Vienna experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Authentic Vienna Food Tour inc. lunch, street food, 3 drinks, Vienna Food Tour: Coffeehouses, Markets, Lunch & Street Food, Budapest Small-Group Day Trip from Vienna. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Vienna?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Vienna?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
