This private tour of Schönbrunn Palace was one of the highlights of our visit to Vienna. Skipping the lines allowed us to spend more time enjoying the palace and its magnificent gardens rather than waiting. Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and brought the history of the Habsburg dynasty to life with fascinating stories and insights. Exploring the beautifully preserved state rooms gave us a real appreciation for the grandeur of imperial Austria, and the gardens were absolutely breathtaking. The private tour format made the experience feel relaxed and personalized, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and enjoy the palace at a comfortable pace. Showstopper all around
Alex was not just informative and interesting but passionate about the history, the palace and the whys. History explained through each room, piece of art, molding and paint color. Reflections of culture and royal duty evident throughout our tour based on Alex’s descriptions and humor. He made all of us feel warm and happy to be experiencing the beautiful grounds, garden and palace.
