    About this experience

Hailed as the Michelangelo of modern sculpture, Auguste Rodin (1840-1917) undeniably revolutionized this ancient medium. Through his modeling of clay and ardent experiments with the human form, Rodin captured the deepest passions while simultaneously reflecting on the fragility of existence. On the tour, you will experience Rodin’s studio process through the eyes of an artist. Your artist-guide will provide unique insight into the sculptor's diverse techniques in a manner understandable for all audiences. It would be an absolute delight to explore with you how the twisted, dancing limbs; the monumental, immersive enlargements; the bursting blocks of raw stone and polished skin; the entangled, sinuous bodies; the singular mind and powerful hand of Rodin transformed the art of sculpture into living flesh, sublime movement, pure expression.

Blerta was very congenial and informative. She shared many stories about the pieces of art and Rodin’s art and his life. We were able to fully explore the museum and the garden. She took several photographs for us. Would highly recommend Blerta as a tour guide. She was very knowledgeable about Rodin.

What a magical experience at the Rodin

To say Blerta was enthusiastic about her work as a guide would be an understatement. While my girlfriend was a follower of Rodin it wasnt till today that Blerta opened my eyes and mind to what a true master he was. Her tour made all the difference. She was friendly and very upbeat about her work unlike other guides I’ve had in the past which sometimes seem like they are just doing work vesus Blerta who you could tell this was her love.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this fantastic and heartfelt review! Ecstatic to hear how impactful Blerta’s passion and enthusiasm were during your visit. It’s wonderful that she was able to open your eyes to Rodin’s genius and make the experience meaningful for both of you. Blerta genuinely loves what she does, and your words perfectly capture the difference that passion makes. Thank you for sharing your experience—we hope to welcome you back for another inspiring tour in the future.

    This is the guide

This Tour is a must! The guide is one of the most knowledgeable and friendly art enthusiast I have ever met in Paris. I had so much fun on my tour and she even gave me suggestions for the best pastries in Paris close to the museum. Truly a GEM. Highly recommended.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this beautiful and detailed review! It was an absolute pleasure for Blerta to host you. We love that you mentioned the 'memorable journey'—our goal is always to move beyond a simple museum stop and create a true connection to history. Blerta is especially happy you enjoyed the 'hidden gems' alongside the icons like the Mona Lisa; she believes the soul of the Louvre is often found in those quieter corners. We can't wait to share your generous words with her!

Blerta is truly passionate about what she does, and we are so glad her friendliness and knowledge made such an impact on your trip. We strive for a 'no complaints' experience every time, and we’re thrilled we hit the mark for you. We hope to see you again on your next adventure!

    Museum visit made fun!

Highly recommend. Changes the whole museum experience. Full of energy. Very friendly. Knowledgeable. Didn’t think it could be so fun!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much! We absolutely love hearing that we changed your museum experience for the better. Blerta believes that art history should be a high-energy adventure, not a dry lecture, and we’re thrilled you had so much fun with her. Our goal is to leave our guests feeling energized and inspired by the art. We hope to see you again for more 'fun' history soon!

Skip-the-Line Rodin Tour with Artist: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Paris.

How much does Skip-the-Line Rodin Tour with Artist cost?

    +

Prices start at $170 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Paris usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Skip-the-Line Rodin Tour with Artist take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Paris is not rushed.

Is Skip-the-Line Rodin Tour with Artist worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 52 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Paris, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Skip-the-Line Rodin Tour with Artist?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Skip-the-Line Rodin Tour with Artist suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Skip-the-Line Rodin Tour with Artist?

    +

Around 18 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Paris can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Paris and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Skip-the-Line Rodin Tour with Artist start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Paris within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Paris?

    +

Paris rewards travelers who book ahead. The headline museums sell timed entry weeks out, the best food walks cap at eight people, and the Seine cruises that are worth doing are the ones that leave after sunset. Everything below is scored by the Outty Ranking so you can tell a genuine local favorite from a coach-tour filler in a single glance. On Outty we rank every Paris experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Louvre Museum Essential Guided Tour Semi Private 6 GUESTS MAX, Louvre Museum Premium Guided Tour 6 GUESTS MAX Entry Included, Paris City Center Free Walking Tour (Tip-Based). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Paris?

    +

April to June and September to October, when queues thin out and terraces stay open late. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Paris?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
