    The actual tour was...

The actual tour was great. The guide was very knowledgeable with her description of the Last Supper. Our only complaint was with the meeting spot. We were told to meet in a certain location but no one was there. Several others from our tour were also searching for the guide. We finally found the guide across the square but would have appreciated an update to the meeting location.

Awe-struck By the Beauty and Devotion

Right up there with Michelangelo’s “The David” and the Sistine Chapel, both of which I have experienced, The Last Supper has been on my Bucket List since I was in 9th grade Art History class. The first two left me in awe, and this did not disappoint! Fortunately I had been doing so much research prior to our departure to Milan, months of research actually, so I had discovered how important it was to buy your tickets well in advance and not wait until you arrive in Milan! The museum releases three of months of tickets at a time and I’m guessing that the major tour companies like Viator and Get Your Guide swoop in and buy them up because when I first started looking to buy tickets, the museum was sold out and the average ticket with the two tour companies was anywhere between $200-$300 per ticket! The museum sells them for what, 20 Euros! But I persevered and found them with Booking.com for a total of 192 Euros and the tour was a one hour experience with a knowledgeable guide, who met us in front of the church, exactly as promised, giving each of us a headset so we could hear every word she said. Our group was only 29 people and we glided through the entry and security like total rock stars! When we finally entered the room, a hush descended on each one of us. You only wanted to speak in whispers about the beauty and devotion in that space. We were granted 15 private minutes with just our small group, to take in Leonardo’s painting on one end of the hall and on the other, the painting of the crucifixion on the opposite wall. To learn that for centuries, only monks sat daily with their meals in the dining hall, facing outward to contemplate both paintings and the impact that the behaviors of men have defined humanity. That essence still fills the room. That devotion to The Christ still fills that room. It’s humbling to see and to feel. Do not let anyone tell you otherwise. It was worth every penny we paid for it!

    Great short tour

Great tour! Learned a lot about the Last supper’s history. I even got emotional looking at the painting and thinking of all the meanings behind it. The guide was entertaining 😆

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Milan.

How much does Skip the Line: Last Supper Tour in Milan cost?

    +

Prices start at $97 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Milan usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Skip the Line: Last Supper Tour in Milan take?

    +

Plan for about 0.8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Milan is not rushed.

Is Skip the Line: Last Supper Tour in Milan worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 402 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Milan, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Skip the Line: Last Supper Tour in Milan?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Skip the Line: Last Supper Tour in Milan suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 0.8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Skip the Line: Last Supper Tour in Milan?

    +

Around 141 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Milan can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Milan and add a light layer if any part of the 0.8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Skip the Line: Last Supper Tour in Milan start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Milan within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Milan?

    +

On Outty we rank every Milan experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gnocchi, Pasta, Tiramisù and Wine Class, Milan: Pasta and Tiramisu Small Group Cooking Class with Wine, Milan's Hidden Gems: Unique Bike Tour (ENG, NL). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Milan?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Milan?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
