This trip was a wonderful experience. Our tour guide, Canan, was informative right from the start. We were able to see everything we wanted to see. Canan was very knowledgeable, pointing out things we may have missed. She was kind, sensitive to our ability needs, maintaining a pleasant pace throughout. She has a lovely personality. We would not hesitate to recommend this tour, or the special tour guide to anyone. Thank you!

Be careful with the itinerary. Make sure they don’t call you into a carpet demonstration on the demise it was an art sho

We had no interest or idea that we would be attending a carpet demonstration so we felt that we were bamboozled into going.

Response from the operator: Dear Theresa, Thank you for your review. We would like to clarify a few points for future travellers. The itinerary you booked clearly lists a visit to a local and authentic art workshop. It was a published part of the tour from the moment you made your booking. When guests meet their guide in the morning, the guide explains the full programme: which sites will be visited, which stops are optional, and what is included and excluded. The rest of the day then follows the guests' interests. Your review says you were "bamboozled" into the demonstration, but no guest around the world can be taken anywhere against their will. The visit took place because you agreed to it when your guide asked. The workshop is a cultural stop where village women hand-weave carpets, one of the oldest Turkish arts. For these reasons, we cannot accept the claim in your review. Kind regards, Kadir

    Good…but

There are hidden costs. Never told we would be having lunch and then told to pay for it. Who does that?

Response from the operator: Dear George, "Hidden costs"? Let us be precise, since future travellers will read this. The tour page you booked from states, in plain words under "What's not included": Meals and drinks. That is not hidden; it is the first thing listed. Nobody is "told" they are having lunch on our tours. A lunch stop is arranged only when guests ask for it during the day, and the meal is paid directly to the restaurant – we do not sell it, we do not add it to the price, and we earn nothing from it. If your group stopped for lunch, it is because your group wanted lunch. So, to answer your question "Who does that?": every tour operator in the world who lists meals as not included – and every traveller who reads the description before booking. You rate the tour itself as "Good". The guide, the skip-the-line entry to Ephesus, the House of the Virgin Mary and the on-time return to your ship were all delivered exactly as promised. We are sorry that a plate of food you chose to order has become a 2-star review of our team's work, but we stand fully behind the service we provided and the description we published.

    +

How long does SKIP-THE-LINE EPHESUS and MARY'S HOUSE TOUR for Cruisers take?

    +

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 130 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Selçuk, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

How many days do you need in Selçuk?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
