"Walker Tours" "Pancho Tours" scam?
My husband I had booked tickets on the OFFICIAL Alhambra site months in advance. When my daughter decided to join us I was desperate to add a ticket and chanced upon the "Walker Tours" site that was sponsored in Google search. It looked official (my bad for not double checking) and I found availability for the same day we had booked. I received a confirmation of payment (inflated price) and that tickets would follow. Well, guess what, similar to other reviewers, the tickets never arrived by email. And I received zero response when I contacted them by email or text or WhatsApp. (At this point I had read other reviews and was resigned to it being a scam/fraud.) A few nights before, an email arrived from Pancho Tours saying that there was now no availability and asking about rescheduling. (No mention of "Walker Tours". ) Although ZERO response to any further emails, I did get a refund for the ticket - less about $10 due to exchange rate fluctuations, which I consider the cost of a lesson to double check. I guess they hope customers just won't follow up? SILVER LINING - the lovely hotel front desk person suggested going on the Alhambra website the night before as they post cancellations and I was able to grab a ticket for my daughter. Thank you to the Hotel Guadalupe! (Conveniently located across from the Alhambra.) PS Shame on Google search for allowing scams like this to pop up as 'sponsored'.

Do Not Book
I booked this tour 2 months in advance. I received a confirmation email and my card was charged. When I arrived in Granada I was told that they were unable to secure tickets to the Alhambra and the tour was cancelled. This was supposed to be my birthday trip with my family. I was shocked that I was never notified prior to arriving in Granada. Do Not Book with Pancho Tours.

See the Alhambra-- do it!
It would be ridiculous to go to Granada without seeing the Alhambra, which must be one of the wonders of the post-classical, pre-modern world. This tour will do right by you telling you about the plants, architecture, and history of the Alhambra. While the tour makes the hike up to the tower optional, you really do not want to miss it, and the tour will give you time to make the climb and come back down. I'd probably give this a 4.5 if Viator did half-stars, since the guide would occasionally slip up on some words, but nothing that detracted from our enjoyment. It's possible there's a better Alhambra tour out there, but you really can't go wrong by picking this one.

Unmissable
Excellent Highly recommended, the guide very trained and friendly, with headphones we could listen Perfect, the guide gave his explanation in Spanish and English
Response from the operator: ¡Muchas gracias por compartirnos tu experiencia! Nos alegra saber que la visita guiada ha sido muy buena. Esperamos volver a verte muy pronto en otra actividad de Pancho Tours. ¡Un saludo!

Bad guide spoiled the tour
It was supposed to be something very special, but the guide... She never introduced herself. Her English was bad and broken. She was moving without any sign in her hand, so we always were on the brink of losing her. And, finally, she was so boring that we even didn't make to the end of the tour. Alhambra deserves better!
Response from the operator: Dear customer, Thank you for informing us of the difficulties you encountered during your guided tour. We regret that you have not been able to enjoy this activity as each of our customers deserves. It is always frustrating for us when we learn that one of our clients has encountered difficulties after a booking with us. In this case we want to tell you that we have been able to locate more people of this day and we have spoken with our guides and they tell us that the tour went satisfactorily, however we will continue working and we have called the guide to speak personally with her. The first thing for us is the happiness of the client, so we will continue working so that our guides are the best and can give everything of them in every moment. Cordial greetings, The Customer Service Team

Why this scores 39
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Skip the Line Alhambra Guided Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Granada.
How much does Skip the Line Alhambra Guided Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $66 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Granada usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Skip the Line Alhambra Guided Tour take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Granada is not rushed.
Is Skip the Line Alhambra Guided Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 39 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.3/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Granada, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Skip the Line Alhambra Guided Tour?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Skip the Line Alhambra Guided Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Skip the Line Alhambra Guided Tour?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Granada can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Granada and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Skip the Line Alhambra Guided Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Granada within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Granada?
+
On Outty we rank every Granada experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include From Granada: Sierra Nevada Safari tour up to 2500 meters high, Granada Tapas and Wine Small Group Tour, Granada: Albaicin and Sacromonte Segway Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Granada?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Granada?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
