Sitka Haunted Pub Crawl
There were 6 of us and we all had a great time. Emily was our guide and her stories and infectious personality and love of the tales made the whole experience even better. I highly recommend it. The drinks were the topping on the whole event.

Fun Tour with Creepy Lore!
The Haunted Pub Crawl was such a fun way to spend time in Sitka! Emily was a wonderful guide and the local lore she was able to share was both spooky and informative. She clearly cares about sharing a unique side of Sitka with those of us passing through for a few hours. My wife and I had plenty of time while our ship was docked to walk from the shuttle drop off to the totem trail, back into town for some lunch, and meet up for the tour.
Response from the operator: Thank you, Michael, for the wonderful review! We're so glad you and your wife chose to spend part of your day in Sitka with us. It was a pleasure sharing some of Sitka's spooky history and local legends with you both. I especially appreciate you mentioning how easy it was to fit the pub crawl into your port day. Sitka has so much to see, and it's great to hear you were able to enjoy the Totem Trail, lunch downtown, and still have time for a haunted adventure before returning to your ship. Thank you again for joining the Haunted Pub Crawl, and we hope you'll visit Sitka again someday—there are always more stories waiting to be told! – Emily, Haunted Sitka

10 out of 10 spookies
Dr. Emily did an amazing job showing us the sites and supplementing each stop with a spooky story! Such a great way to learn local legends and history of the area as well as supporting local businesses, and I'll never forget trying a 'Moose Fart'
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! I'm delighted you enjoyed exploring Sitka's haunted history and local legends with us. One of my favorite parts of the pub crawl is sharing the stories behind the places we visit. And of course, no Haunted Pub Crawl is complete without trying a Moose Fart! 😊 Thank you for joining me, and I hope you'll visit us again the next time you're in Sitka. Safe travels!

Why this scores 68
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Sitka Haunted Pub Crawl: Ghost Stories, Local History & Drinks: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sitka.
How much does Sitka Haunted Pub Crawl: Ghost Stories, Local History & Drinks cost?
+
Prices start at $104 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sitka usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sitka Haunted Pub Crawl: Ghost Stories, Local History & Drinks take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sitka is not rushed.
Is Sitka Haunted Pub Crawl: Ghost Stories, Local History & Drinks worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sitka, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sitka Haunted Pub Crawl: Ghost Stories, Local History & Drinks?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sitka Haunted Pub Crawl: Ghost Stories, Local History & Drinks suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Sitka Haunted Pub Crawl: Ghost Stories, Local History & Drinks?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sitka can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sitka and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sitka Haunted Pub Crawl: Ghost Stories, Local History & Drinks start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sitka within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sitka?
+
Sitka runs sea otter and whale quest boats, bear and raptor rescue centre visits, Tongass rainforest hikes, kayak paddles through the islands and Russian colonial history walks. On Outty we rank every Sitka experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include PREMIUM Sitka Scenic Tour, Best of Sitka Land Tour / Bears, Raptors, Totems, Guided Hike | TONGASS NATIONAL FOREST. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sitka?
+
May to September. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sitka?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
