A "must-do" if you're in Barcelona
Adrian, our guide, was brilliant. Even though this was my sixth time in Barcelona, Adrian shared so much about the history, what to do and where. Good mix of different places to eat, drink and visit. Kept kids and adults entertained alike. I'm glad we did this the day after we arrived, as it gave us a list of places to visit and things to do over the following days. Totally worth it.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the glowing review! It’s quite a compliment to hear that after six visits to Barcelona, Adrian was still able to show you a new side of the city. We’re especially glad to hear the kids had a great time too—keeping the whole family entertained is always our goal! It sounds like the perfect start to your trip, and we hope the rest of your 'to-do list' was just as fun. See you on visit number seven! 🥂 Caro, Eye on Food Tours

Great way to start the evening and get a taste of the local cuisine
Great Food Tour. Adrian knows the town and the places to go. We had a wide range of local food and wine and all the recommendations were spot on. We even ent to a couple of the spots recommended on the tour and they were great as well. Highly recommend this tour!
Response from the operator: So happy to hear you enjoyed the food tour with Adrian! 🎉 He really does know all the best hidden spots, and it’s awesome that you went back to some of the recommendations—that’s the best compliment we could hope for. Nothing makes us happier than knowing you got to taste and experience Barcelona like a local. Thanks so much for the kind words and the recommendation—we’d love to share more food and wine adventures with you next time you’re in town! 🍷🥘

Choose another tapas tour
I never give bad reviews but with all the other tapas tour options , this is probably a bottom tier tour. We booked for 12 and the guide was a no-show , I called him and the guide said he accidentally booked it for 5. We went back at 5 and he was kinda rude and very pretentious, many awkward moments and he was basically making fun of us as tourists. I would say skip this one and choose another tapas tour.

Why this scores 72
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Sip, Sites & Bites Barcelona Food, Drinks & History Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Barcelona.
How much does Sip, Sites & Bites Barcelona Food, Drinks & History Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $79 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Barcelona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sip, Sites & Bites Barcelona Food, Drinks & History Tour take?
+
Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Barcelona is not rushed.
Is Sip, Sites & Bites Barcelona Food, Drinks & History Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 97 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Barcelona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sip, Sites & Bites Barcelona Food, Drinks & History Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sip, Sites & Bites Barcelona Food, Drinks & History Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 16. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3.5-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Sip, Sites & Bites Barcelona Food, Drinks & History Tour?
+
Around 34 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Barcelona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Barcelona and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sip, Sites & Bites Barcelona Food, Drinks & History Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Barcelona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Barcelona?
+
Barcelona's Gaudí sites are capacity-limited and the official timed tickets go first, so most of the market is resellers with a guide attached. We weight those heavily on whether the guide is an architecture specialist. Beyond Gaudí, the tapas crawls in Gràcia and the Montserrat day trips carry the highest rankings in the city. On Outty we rank every Barcelona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gràcia Tapas and Vermouth Crawl, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel & Cliff Jump from Barcelona, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel, Cliff Jump & lunch Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Barcelona?
+
May, June, September and October. Sagrada Família light is best mid-morning. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Barcelona?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
