Thus was a fabulous experience. Laurie took us to 3 great wineries. We just loved her and will definitely book them again. Highly recommend!

Best girls weekend!
We had the best time with Laurie! We have already looked into booking her for our next Fredericksburg trip! We had a fun girls weekend. We were able to choose the wineries we wanted to go to and everything was ready for us when we arrived to each winery.

Wonderful experience!
Laurie was a fantastic host. We visited 3 very different wineries. Beckers was the first stop where we were lucky enough to run into Dr. Becker and his lovely wife, as we were entering the main building for our tasting. It was so good that we purchased a membership and took home 6 bottles with us that day. TWC was the 2nd stop where we were able to include a selection of Ciders with our wine. We also enjoyed a wonderful lunch from their resident food truck, Cork & Fork (the fig/goat cheese burger and coconut shrimp tacos are a must). Slate Theory, which was probably the most unique, architecturally, was our final stop and we purchased wine/merch from there as well. We loved visiting with Laurie and hearing about her and her husband's history with Fredericksburg. We look forward to another tour with Laurie in the future.

Fantastic tour. Worth every penny.
What a treat! Laurie scheduled tours of 3 wineries, each different from the other. We were impressed by the wines, the facilities, and the information we gleaned. I've taken group tours in Napa Valley and other regions and none was better. Having a local guide for our group of 4 was fantastic. We hope to come back soon and do this again to let Laurie introduce us to other wineries in the area.

Private Wine Tour Fell Short of Expectations
We recently booked a private tour with Native Wine Tour in Fredericksburg and had mixed feelings about the experience. Our driver, Laurie, was very personable, born and raised in the area, and clearly knowledgeable about Fredericksburg and the wineries. She picked us up on time at our VRBO and even had snacks and water ready, which was a thoughtful touch. She also got out with us at each stop to make sure everything was going smoothly, which we appreciated. Before the tour, I explained that we were interested in beautiful vineyard views and a true wine experience, not just hopping from place to place to drink. Laurie provided an itinerary that included Becker Vineyards, K Estate Winery (with lunch), and Narrow Path Winery, which sounded perfect, so we booked. Our first stop at Becker was great—beautiful property and a knowledgeable tasting room attendant. Unfortunately, the experience at K Estate Winery was very uncomfortable. The manager made several comments about not offering discounts and said food was only for members (which wasn’t clearly stated online). He also made a comment comparing their winery to Becker that felt dismissive and unprofessional. The interaction became tense enough that our driver decided to leave. While I appreciated her standing up for us, this change meant the rest of the itinerary shifted significantly. Instead of continuing to the planned winery lunch, we ended up stopping at Leroy’s Tex-Mex, a rustic, picnic-style eatery and come-as-you-are spot, and then going to Texas Wine Collective, which felt more like a busy tasting room than a vineyard experience. The final stop was another tasting room rather than a vineyard with views, which was disappointing since that was something we specifically asked for when booking. When settling the bill, the only adjustment made was removing the $25 lunch charge, even though two of the planned vineyard experiences were replaced with different stops. Laurie herself was friendly, accommodating, and clearly cares about her guests. I do think, as a newer tour operator, there may be opportunities to improve contingency planning and communication when plans change so guests still feel they’re getting the experience they booked. Fredericksburg has amazing wineries and views, and with a little refinement to the itinerary planning and handling of unexpected situations, this tour could be a really great experience.
