Best girls weekend!
We had the best time with Laurie! We have already looked into booking her for our next Fredericksburg trip! We had a fun girls weekend. We were able to choose the wineries we wanted to go to and everything was ready for us when we arrived to each winery.
Response from the operator: So happy that you enjoyed the tour! You were a great group!

Wonderful experience!
Laurie was a fantastic host. We visited 3 very different wineries. Beckers was the first stop where we were lucky enough to run into Dr. Becker and his lovely wife, as we were entering the main building for our tasting. It was so good that we purchased a membership and took home 6 bottles with us that day. TWC was the 2nd stop where we were able to include a selection of Ciders with our wine. We also enjoyed a wonderful lunch from their resident food truck, Cork & Fork (the fig/goat cheese burger and coconut shrimp tacos are a must). Slate Theory, which was probably the most unique, architecturally, was our final stop and we purchased wine/merch from there as well. We loved visiting with Laurie and hearing about her and her husband's history with Fredericksburg. We look forward to another tour with Laurie in the future.
Response from the operator: Thanks, all of you! You were such a fun and easy group to show around the hill country! Please come back and join me in the future!

Fantastic tour. Worth every penny.
What a treat! Laurie scheduled tours of 3 wineries, each different from the other. We were impressed by the wines, the facilities, and the information we gleaned. I've taken group tours in Napa Valley and other regions and none was better. Having a local guide for our group of 4 was fantastic. We hope to come back soon and do this again to let Laurie introduce us to other wineries in the area.
Response from the operator: Thanks, so much! You were so fun to be with! What a great group!

Fun & Relaxing Girls Weekend Wine Tasting
We had an amazing time with Laurie (the owner)—visited wonderful wineries with great, unique options—and it was truly relaxing knowing we had a safe, friendly driver who accommodated all our needs.
Response from the operator: Thanks so much, wonderful women! I had a great time showing you my favorite wineries!

Laurie did a fine job!
Nice to visit three wine tastings with a knowledgeable driver. Great wines, too. Able to adjust which vineyards visited.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much!!

Why this scores 63
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Sip Like a Local: Private Wine Tours by Native Experts: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Fredericksburg.
How much does Sip Like a Local: Private Wine Tours by Native Experts cost?
+
Prices start at $185 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Fredericksburg usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sip Like a Local: Private Wine Tours by Native Experts take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Fredericksburg is not rushed.
Is Sip Like a Local: Private Wine Tours by Native Experts worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Fredericksburg, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sip Like a Local: Private Wine Tours by Native Experts?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sip Like a Local: Private Wine Tours by Native Experts suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Sip Like a Local: Private Wine Tours by Native Experts?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Fredericksburg can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Fredericksburg and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sip Like a Local: Private Wine Tours by Native Experts start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Fredericksburg within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Fredericksburg?
+
Fredericksburg sells Texas Hill Country wine tours with tastings and transport, Enchanted Rock hikes, distillery stops, WWII Pacific War Museum visits and wildflower drives. On Outty we rank every Fredericksburg experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include All-Inclusive Social Wine Tour, Fredericksburg Historic District Narrated Tour, Boutique Winery Experience in the Fredericksburg Texas Hill Country. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Fredericksburg?
+
March to May for bluebonnets, September to November for harvest. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Fredericksburg?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
