Fantastic tour
Maria was an amazing tour guide she was so kind and helpful not just with the trip but anything we needed after she was always ready to reply and helpful. She was willing to help . Incredible person She was so knowledgeable about everything on our tour . She went above and beyond and to make us visit understand and be comfortable. I could not recommend her enough and her yellow convertible 🚗 . Really really really lovely and very educated tour guide . Her English was also absolutely perfect she speaks a couple other languages so you won’t have to worry about that. We had a lovely lunch over all the trip was made so much better thanks to our guide maria

Beautiful tour of Sintra and coastline
We had an amazing tour today with Fransisco! He was a fantastic guide and very knowledgeable about Portugal. He took us to amazing sites and even took us off-roading to the most beautiful views of the ocean. We HIGHLY recommend this tour! We even made a new furry friend. 🫏 Don’t think twice about booking this tour.
Response from the operator: I am so glad you enjoyed the Sintra tour with Francisco and our 4x4 experience. Hope you can come back another time to visit our furry friend 😊 All the best for your family!

The best Sintra experience
This tour is amazing! Probably the best tour I’ve ever had. Firstly, Maria was in contact with me weeks before to best personalize the experience. Then the day of the tour Francisco provided us with great historical backgrounds with awesome viewpoints of the main palaces. They were also amazing in knowing how to best maximize your time once in sintra. Even though Maria wasn’t our tour guide, she checked on us throughout the day and was in constant contact. I highly recommend this tour to anyone!
Response from the operator: Thank you so so much for your great review. It was my pleasure to help you to organize your day in Sintra. In a place where there is so much to see, we really have to do the best as possible. I am also very glad to know that you enjoyed the day with Francisco. Once more, we are really greatfull for your review. Hope you can visit Portugal and Sintra once more! Warm regards, Maria

Fabulous tour of Sintra and Palaces. Must do!
This was an amazing tour. Highly recommend this tour and the tour operator. They were so kind and accommodating. They let us customize our own day. Our guide Francisco was so knowledgeable. Even the gloomy weather did not harm our good time.
Response from the operator: Thank you so so much for you review. I am very glad to know that you had a good experience in Sintra. We can costumize all our tours but unfortunatly we can not control the wheather so we just do the best as possible. Thank you so much once more and we hope you can visit Portugal again. Warm regards from e.hello tours team.

Sintra and Cascais for Small Groups-FULL DAY PRIVATE GUIDED TOUR: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sintra.
How much does Sintra and Cascais for Small Groups-FULL DAY PRIVATE GUIDED TOUR cost?
+
Prices start at $495 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sintra usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sintra and Cascais for Small Groups-FULL DAY PRIVATE GUIDED TOUR take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sintra is not rushed.
Is Sintra and Cascais for Small Groups-FULL DAY PRIVATE GUIDED TOUR worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sintra, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sintra and Cascais for Small Groups-FULL DAY PRIVATE GUIDED TOUR?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sintra and Cascais for Small Groups-FULL DAY PRIVATE GUIDED TOUR suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Sintra and Cascais for Small Groups-FULL DAY PRIVATE GUIDED TOUR?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sintra can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sintra and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sintra and Cascais for Small Groups-FULL DAY PRIVATE GUIDED TOUR start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sintra within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sintra?
+
On Outty we rank every Sintra experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Tour Sintra from Lisbon Palaces of Pena and Regaleira, Private Sintra Tour Palaces and Coast by Vintage Car or Jeep, Sintra Historical Jeep Adventure - Palaces & Secret Routes. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sintra?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sintra?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
