Single ATV, Horseback Riding, Ziplines and Cenote Swim

Poor environment, food, and experience

I’ve done dozens of excursions via Viator as we travel quite a lot. This was my 4th trip to Mexico so we were excited for an adventurous activity. As such, I’d like to note that this is possibly the worst excursion you can book if you value comfort and a good experience. It might be a good option for first timers, beginner travelers, and if you’re looking for a cheaper excursion. The van packed 14 people in like sardines, and then proceeded to drive recklessly fast (all participants verbalized that Francisco was a poor driver). The park itself is lackluster and unfortunately abuses their horses. Many horses had cast braces on their hooves, which made us feel terrible for riding these horses as a part of the excursion. The zipline activity doesn’t have any views and is quite simply through the trees. The cenote was fun though. The food situation is horrible if you don’t eat pork. They provided us 4 mini egg tacos each as they don’t serve any non pork based meat. As such, we were starving and paid for more. Each tiny taco was an extra $2 and we still left hungry. They also haggle you with outrageous prices to sell you photos. They offered us our photos for the 2 of us for $80, as they force you to put your phone away so they can take photos of you. I’ve been to Mexico 4x to date and have done several other ziplining/horseback/cenote excursions and none of them had a policy that we put our phones away so we could then be haggled into purchasing their photos.

And this award, in case you didn't know, comes from the reviews of millions of Tripadvisor travelers who rank our park among the top 10% worldwide. And we're going to be a contender for the Travelers' Choice Destination award in 2025. Therefore, we ask that before writing a review like yours, which clearly wasn't about our park or our service, you make sure to include the park's name, as there are many parks in the area that are copies of ours. Maintaining the Tripadvisor distinction is a challenge that has been achieved over all these years. We appreciate your comment, as it will strengthen us to continue innovating at our facilities. The weaknesses of others are our strengths. Based on your experience with "this" park, we will ensure nothing similar happens at ours. Basic & Non Thrilling Excursion

First time using this tour company. Driver was prompt to pick us up in the hotel zone. Took us an hour to get to the tour somewhere in Riviera Maya. Started w/ATV. Just drove in a straight line, did nothing crazy. Next was the zipline, not too high up, did about 4 of them. Then our van drove us to the Cenote and horseback riding area. Was a short 20 minute ride on the horse, horses were hungry so they ate the plants as we were riding them. Cenote was a nice cold break to jump in the cave and swim. The van brought us back to eat 3 chicken tacos and then took us back to resort. I would say this tour is very basic not for thrill seekers as this was my 6th time riding ATVs. Good for families with kids. They have a water jug you can refill your water bottle. Optional $6 insurance for ATV and $6 for locker rental. No phones allowed with this tour company as they want you to purchase their $50 photo packages. They allow you to use your phone at the end of the tour for the Cenote swim. The tour guides were very helpful and nice. Was gone from 9-4pm

Response from the operator: Im not really sure if you are talking about our activity, but this are the times that we have on the park. Atvs is 40 minutes and our customers drive inside the jungle ( there is barely a straight line, there are so many ups and downs that our clients always get off the motorcycles very happy with the experience ). We have 5 ziplines y 1 suspension bridge. they time there is about from 35 to 40 minutes. Horse back riding is 30 minutes. and our horses are not hungry They are very well fed .and since the ride is inside the jungle sometimes They are distracted when they see the leaves of the plants they like to eat. But they are not eating because they are hungry, that I can assure you, apart from the fact that I have ridden horses in the park and I know how they behave. We dont give tacos... we give chicken fajitas, rice, black beans, salsa and tortillas and natural flavor water. Natural water is there to hydrate our customers and is available in the park throughout your stay there, and has no additional cost. And about the phones, and Im not sure which company you were, in ours we dont allow the phones because: In any case, ATVs you have to have both hands on the steering of the motorcycle because motorcycles are heavy and for your safety you are asked to use both hands on the steering (just like when you drive a car) when driving ATVs. You cannot be with a cell phone in one hand and driving the motorcycle with the other hand alone because any carelessness can cause an accident and then guess whose fault it is?... yours... but they always blame the tour guide or the park itself.so all our customers are asked to DRIVE WITH BOTH HANDS AND THE USE OF CELL PHONES IS NOT ALLOWED IN THE ACTIVITIES. The same thing happens with zip lines, if your cell phone fall in the middle of the jungle from a height that apparently was not enough for you, your cell phone falls and hits a rock or falls into water... the cell phone also breaks and guess again Who is to blame? Obvious you, but in the same way to avoid misunderstandings on the Zip Lines, the use of cell phones is not allowed because you have to hold the harness with both hands and you cannot have a cell phone with one hand that can slip and with the other grab hand the harnes. The same situation happens with horses and not to mention with the cenote. The cenote is the most complicated since its depth is around 10 to 25 meters deep and from there we do not have divers to recover a cell phone, since is fresh sweet water (not salty like the ocean )the objects fall much faster to the bottom. The fact of having photographer who can capture the moment of your activity does not imply that you or any customer are obliged to buy the photos, whoever wants to buy them can do so, the photos are professionally done. But if you don't want them, that's fine, you have no obligation to do so. In the end you can use your phone to take photos throughout the park, but because you are no longer doing the activity and you certainly won't be endangering your life with the use of just one hand. I really hope you can do our activity at our park, because as far as you kind review it looks like you did not booked us, and you are doing a wrong review from another company. The perfect birthday excursion!

I would highly recommend this excursion . We did one through extreme adventure Cancun and this one was way better. The zip lines are longer. The tacos were good and they had a vegan options. The cenote was scary , but still cool. Horse back riding was perfect. Everybody that works here is fun and keeps you absolutely save in the jungle. I am a travel agent and I highly recommend this excursion!
