About this experience
Upon arrival at the meeting point, meet our friendly staff and climb aboard a boat. After a safety briefing, sit and get comfortable in the Sky Rider. As the boat starts cruising across the waters, the Sky Rider will take you up and away into the blue Caribbean sky. Soar to an altitude of 325 feet (100 m) and take in spectacular views of white-sand beaches and crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea. Check out the Cancun hotels from high up as you relax comfortably in the reclining seat of the Sky Rider. Once your time is up, choose to land smoothly in a soft platform at the boat or ask to go down with a splash in the water.

Great thing to do!!!
Was a little tricky to find, its on the beach behind the hotel, but once we did, it was fantastic! They were very professional and friendly, got us in life jackets quickly. From there it was a quick jetski ride to the boat waiting to send us off. After a quick safety briefing, we were seated and sent up. It was SOOO peaceful and relaxing! Not at all what I would have thought it would be. We took in the amazing view of the area, and that gorgeous Mexican carribean water before coming back down. We opted to get the additional photos for an extra $45, which they gave us on an SD card, so we have to wait until we get home for those. All in all, wonderful experience that you really should try!
Response from the operator: Dear Don H, Thank you for sharing your experience on our Sky Rider Oceanside Parasailing Experience in Cancun. Cancun is filled with beautiful views specially by the ocean, and what a best way to enjoy them than from up high. We are glad you enjoyed your experience and decided to take with you the amazing pictures so you can share this moment with your loved ones. The Cancun Travel Experience Team

Great time!
We had a little bit of trouble finding them, we went to the hotel they were supposed to be at BUT they are on the beach behind the hotel. Once we figured that out, it was a quick bit of removing shoes and then it was a jet ski ride to the boat. They gave a quick rundown of what to expect and safety instructions. We opted to get the pics for an extra $45, and they started taking pics as we were released into the sky. It was FANTASTIC! Very peaceful and relaxing, and much smoother than I was expecting. It was a great experience, and one we would love to recommend!!!
Response from the operator: Dear Don_H Thank you for reviewing our SkyRider Parasailing Experience, we appreciate your comments. Once you make it to the starting point, you're in for a treat because this is such a fantastic experience! We hope to see you back with us soon. Hasta Pronto! The Cancun Travel Experience Team

Cancelled due to weather - no notification
Disclaimer: We weren't able to go on the Sky Rider due to weather conditions and had to cancel, so my review is based on the experience for how that was handled by the company, not the ride itself. We were able to get a full refund without much fuss. My primary complaint was that the company did not reach out to us ahead of the scheduled appointment to inform us that they were not doing Sky Rider tours due to the weather. We were staying at a different resort and had to travel to the meetup point on the beach, so we had no idea beforehand. We ended up wasting our time getting to the meetup location only to find out that they weren't even there. Once we got to the beach and noticed the wind, we did try calling the numbers provided to see if things were still running prior to walking down, but one went straight to voicemail and the other went to a disconnected line.
Response from the operator: Dear Caleb_S, Thank you for taking the time to share your comments with us! Unfortunately, this activity completely depends on the weather and wind conditions of the day and the safety of our guests is our priority. Weather in Cancun is very variable and they might be hour gaps this activity does not operate. The scheduled time for your booking was one of the first ones in the day, and unfortunately our provider did not reach out on time for us to properly inform you about the activity since they were awaiting a confirmation from local authorities. We do apologize for the inconvenients this might have caused and hope next time you visit this beautiful destination we can provide you with the experiences we like delivering our customers. Why this scores 42

Sky Rider Oceanside Parasailing Experience in Cancun: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cancun.
How much does Sky Rider Oceanside Parasailing Experience in Cancun cost?
+
Prices start at $89 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cancun usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sky Rider Oceanside Parasailing Experience in Cancun take?
+
Plan for about 0.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cancun is not rushed.
Is Sky Rider Oceanside Parasailing Experience in Cancun worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 42 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.8/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cancun, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sky Rider Oceanside Parasailing Experience in Cancun?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sky Rider Oceanside Parasailing Experience in Cancun suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 0.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Sky Rider Oceanside Parasailing Experience in Cancun?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cancun can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cancun and add a light layer if any part of the 0.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sky Rider Oceanside Parasailing Experience in Cancun start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cancun within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cancun?
+
On Outty we rank every Cancun experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Early Access to Chichen Itza All Inclusive with Valladolid and Cenote Swim, Whale Shark Tour from Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Riviera Maya, Small-Group 3 Hidden Cenotes Adventure with Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cancun?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cancun?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
