Well worth it - glad I went

I had a great tour with Bob today. He was super knowledgeable and friendly - I really appreciated the way he went about showing me places that I wouldn’t have otherwise visited (plus some of the tourist locations). As a cyclist, I know that Brompton bikes are the coolest and so I had to book when I realised there was a tour on Brompton bikes. The speed/pace of the ride was great, with stops for drinks and shade. Thanks Bob!

Response from the operator: Hello! Thank you for taking time to submit your review! Glad to hear that you enjoyed the tour! Looking forward to welcoming you back in Singapore again!

Fantastic Cycle tour with Bob and 808

A highlight of our stay in SGP. Bob was amazing and so knowledgeable. We stopped at plenty of historic spots. Enjoyed the 3pm slot as we finished as the sun was setting. We got to see the wildlife including otters which I never realised had a home in SGP! And interesting tales of the fauna. I would highly recommend this tour!!! As it gives you a good overview and then you can go back at another time to those favourite spots.

Response from the operator: Thank you for dropping a review! Glad to hear that you enjoyed the cycling tour, and hope it left you with wonderful memories of Singapore!

    Enjoyable experience with cycling

Recently took the 808 bike tour from the Rail Corridor to the Civic District and it was a fantastic experience. The tour starts from the peaceful Rail Corridor surrounded by green trees and nature, providing a refreshing break from the city. The atmosphere changed as we cycled to the Civic District, passing iconic landmarks like the National Gallery and the Merlion, a fusion of history and modern Singapore. The guide was friendly and informative, making the tour enjoyable and educational. It’s a great way to explore both the tranquil and vibrant sides of Singapore in just a few hours. Highly recommended!

Response from the operator: Hello!!! Thank you so much for taking time to submit a review! We are glad that you enjoyed the experience and learnt something new too! Looking forward to welcoming you again on another of our tours!

    Unique cycling tour

We started the tour by cycling along the rustic Railway Corridor - a decommissioned railway line that has since been repurposed into an ecological and recreational corridor for cyclists and joggers. I was so surprised to realize that such a place still exists in Singapore - one which is away from concrete, hustle and bustle! Our guide, Bob pointed out several plants and flowers of note, such as the Gelam Tree and the Weeping Tea Tree. We also got to sample some local food at a local eatery! This was something I would never have been able to do so if I had gone around on my own! Breakfast was local kaya toast bread, two soft-boiled eggs, and local coffee. I will always remember this experience! And finally, we reached the historic Civic District and because we were on bicycles, we could cycle around and stopped by nearly every single building where Bob gave a detailed commentary on its history and significance. I particularly liked the story about why the old British crests were missing outside the former Supreme Court! Overall, it was a very enriching half-day experience. A great workout, both physically and mentally! I learnt a lot today! Bob is very informative, patience and full of warm smiles. It is an enriching tour to join to experience a very unique cycling tour with him.

Response from the operator: Hello! Thanks for taking time to submit your review! Glad to know that you've enjoyed the trip and learnt something! We also have tours to other interesting places, and look forward to welcoming you and your friends to Singapore again!

Singapore Cycling Tour - Rail Corridor, Civic District, & Food!: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Singapore.

How much does Singapore Cycling Tour - Rail Corridor, Civic District, & Food! cost?

    +

Prices start at $120 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Singapore usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Singapore Cycling Tour - Rail Corridor, Civic District, & Food! take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Singapore is not rushed.

Is Singapore Cycling Tour - Rail Corridor, Civic District, & Food! worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Singapore, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Singapore Cycling Tour - Rail Corridor, Civic District, & Food!?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Singapore Cycling Tour - Rail Corridor, Civic District, & Food! suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Singapore Cycling Tour - Rail Corridor, Civic District, & Food!?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Singapore can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Singapore and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Singapore Cycling Tour - Rail Corridor, Civic District, & Food! start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Singapore within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Singapore?

    +

On Outty we rank every Singapore experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Singapore Highlights Small Group Bike Tour on Full-Sized Bicycles, Lion City Bike Tour of Singapore, Singapore River Cruise, Night Garden Rhapsody & Spectra by CYT. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Singapore?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Singapore?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
