Awesome tour of Silicon Valley from SF.
Fred was our tour guide for the day from Dingo Tours for this Silicon Valley half day trip from SF. Fred was awesome, full of knowledge about Silicon Valley companies and their history and a very happy and accomodating person. He was also a Brazilian soccer fan, which added to the fun aspect, as we were traveling from Sydney Australia to watch the WC matches. Fred gave us a quick outline of the day. First stop was the Meta office, Menlo Park. Interestingly, it was the same office which Sun Microsystems had previously occupied. Being an ex-Sun employee, I was very nostalgic. Fred gave us a quick drive around the campus and then parked to take a picture of us in front of the Meta logo! Funny part was, behind the Meta logo was the old Sun logo, which was such a nice coincidence! The next stop was Stanford University. It was a zip code of its own. Fred gave us some tips on what to see in the short time. We went to see the church, the gift shop and the tower which house a lot of Hoover memorabilia. The view from the top was brilliant, you could capture the width of the entire Stanford campus. The ground floor was a museum. The entry to top floor was ticketed at USD8 per person. Was a good experience. Then next 2 stops were Google office, Mountain View and Apple office, Cupertino. The Google office was just an office with the ground floor having a Google store. After some quick pictures with Google sign boards, we went to Apple which was our final destination. That was a rare experience, getting into Apple Store and visitor’s centre. Shows how Apple can market themselves to blow the socks off its competitors. The Apple visitors centre had a model of the entire campus including office which was built in the shape of a space station. They have interactive iPads which gives a complete immersive experience of each building when you look at the actual model and tap the same building on the iPad. It also had a store and cafe with clean toilets. And if you and T up to the second floor, you would see the actual office building. Great experience for professional nerds who always wanted to be part of Apple, even if from the outside. Overall the tour was a good experience and would def recommend this tour, specially with Fred who was amazing throughout!

Totally not worth it.
I had the pleasure of having Marciano as our guide and driver. He was very knowledgeable of the town and made our experience comfortable. However, the price paid for this tour is totally not worth it. For the price, I was expecting to talk to actual engineers from Google, Apple and Meta. Gain knowledge of how things work. Instead we just went to stores. There was No interaction from employees. It was very restricted and limited.
Response from the operator: Your input is valuable to us, however, your main complain ( not meeting engineers ) is not in the tour description. We don’t say clients will meet engineers or any employees from the tech companies visited. To have the experience of learning from employees you would have to book one immersion tour and, that would cost you at least 5 times more than you paid. The stores you visited are the visitor centers where you can learn about the new products and also about the companies. We are sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations.

Silicon Valley Family Experience
Our Silicon Valley tour was amazing also thanks to the help of our tour guide Fred. He was friendly and knowledgeable about all the places we went (Stanford, Apple, Google and Meta). He was also up for a nice chat on the car rides and made sure that we all had a good time and personalised our schedule to the places that we wanted to see the most.
