    Bad experience in every way

Our group of 6 peoples paid for a tour of 1 hour and a half. As it wasn’t a private tour, the guide accepted a person who wasn’t comfortable at all. That person was so upset when we started to pass him, as the distance between him and the guide was enormous. The pedestrians were completely overtaking us. The guide should have, from the start, called one of his colleagues to pick him up, we would have waited. Even with the wait we would have had the opportunity to visit more than 3 monuments… The 1.5 hour visit planned to visit much more than what we could see… we have already done the segway in France, Portugal, Italy, Greece and never has a company accepted people who are not comfortable. Security level to be reviewed for everyone and as far as we are concerned, we would like to be reimbursed...

Response from the operator: Dear guest Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We deeply regret to hear that your Segway tour did not meet your expectations, and especially that safety and enjoyment were compromised. At Wonder Tours, we take great pride in offering memorable and safe experiences to all our guests. While we aim to be inclusive and supportive to everyone in our groups, it's clear that on this occasion, our guide should have acted more promptly to address the needs of the less confident participant and the dynamic of the group as a whole. We sincerely apologize for this misjudgment. Your feedback is extremely valuable and helps us improve. We are currently reinforcing our team training and reviewing our participant assessment process to ensure everyone feels safe and confident before the tour begins. Your point about the limited number of monuments visited is also well taken and will be addressed in our tour timing and group management. Please reach out to us directly at our email so we can further discuss your experience and evaluate a form of compensation. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again and show you the quality we truly strive to deliver — as many of our returning guests have enjoyed over the years across Madrid and beyond.

Would do again to visit different areas of Madrid

Riding the segway was very easy. We took this tour to get an idea of the area and it did just that. Plus it was super fun to ride the segways. Paloma was awesome and fun. And always making sure we were all safe. If only i could have the segway all week to travel around with. Unfortunately it does not go thru Retiro park.

Sightseeing Segway Tour 1h30 in Madrid: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Madrid.

How much does Sightseeing Segway Tour 1h30 in Madrid cost?

    +

Prices start at $53 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Madrid usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Sightseeing Segway Tour 1h30 in Madrid take?

    +

Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Madrid is not rushed.

Is Sightseeing Segway Tour 1h30 in Madrid worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Madrid, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Sightseeing Segway Tour 1h30 in Madrid?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Sightseeing Segway Tour 1h30 in Madrid suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Sightseeing Segway Tour 1h30 in Madrid?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Madrid can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Madrid and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Sightseeing Segway Tour 1h30 in Madrid start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Madrid within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Madrid?

    +

On Outty we rank every Madrid experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Madrid Essential: Historic Center, Plaza Mayor & Royal Palace, Madrid Walking Tour from Puerta del Sol to Retiro Park, Madrid Oscuro: Torture, Ghosts, Crimes and Legends. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Madrid?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Madrid?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
