Fantastic Tour Experience!
Sokha was our tour guide for this 2 day tour package, and he is absolutely the BEST tour guide EVER! He has such a deep understanding of all the key concepts and symbols in play at Angkor Wat and all the other temples. I was literally blown away by his command of the details associated with each of the temples we visited. Additionally, he is a very gifted photographer, which was a wonderful surprise! Not only did Sokha go ‘above and beyond’ to provide an amazing briefing on each temple, but he also knew all the best spots in each temple for the best photos. I’m not just talking about the location of an interesting panel with a design on it. I mean he was showing me the best creative angles to photograph the structures as well as how to make really cool panos that capture each temple at ‘just the right angle’. Again, going above and beyond, Sokha invited my wife and I to ‘stand here’ while he took photos of us that turned out beautifully! He took some fantastic pictures of us at the different temples that we will cherish for a long time. I sincerely mean it when I say that Sokha made this a truly special trip for my wife and me, and we are so thankful he was our guide today! I highly recommend you specifically ask for Sokha when you book the tour. He really is the BEST!

Adventure and history
Had an amazing tour of the many temples around Angkor. My guide, Vanny, was amazing! He made the tour fun and ejoyable. He walked me through the history and cultural meaning of each temple. He also showed me hidden, of the trail, sites and photo angles. In addition to being a great guide, he's such a nice person to talk to and chat to as a friend, rather than a guide. We had some fun conversations! The tour comoany is also great. I booked direct with the via WhatsApp. Answered all my questions efficiently and very helpful. Trip was well organised, vehicle great, water included, and drivers are friendly! Overall, great trip, made especially better thanks to Vanny! 100% recommend!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! We’re thrilled that Vanny and the team made your tour enjoyable, informative, and memorable. We’ll be sure to share your kind words with him and the drivers. We hope to welcome you back to Siem Reap for another amazing experience soon!

Outstanding tour, couldn't have been better.
We put so much thought and effort into booking the best tour in Siem Reap and I'm most certain we found the best one. Our guide Youk was so enjoyable to be with for the two days. On day one he and Hong (our Tuk Tuk Driver for the day) picked us up promptly at our hotel at the listed time. We appreciated how Youk engineered the day so that we were sort of doing the opposite of all the other tours. We were amazed at how few people were at the temples with us. Even when we were at a temple with a bunch of other tourists and tour groups he expertly led us the opposite direction that all the others were going which really maximized our visit time instead of being stuck behind big groups or folks taking photos. Youk had such an amazing wealth of information to share about each and every one of the temples we visited each day. He always knew where to get the best photos, panoramic photos, etc. Every time we returned to the vehicle we were offered cool towels and a cold bottle of water. The air flow from zooming around in the Tuk Tuk was very welcome natural AC. On day two Youk and our driver of the day picked us up bright and early at 5:30am to go watch the sunrise at Angkor Wat Temple. It was so worth getting up early. After taking loads of photos we set off to explore the large circuit of Temples. We had ended our day one at Angkor Wat which was nice since it was not crowded. After the sunrise throngs of people flood into Angkor Wat, visiting it in the mid afternoon was so nice. All of the temples were so uniquely stunning. Youk knew so much information it was seriously impressive. Youk's passion for Cambodia's rich history and culture was so fantastic. I would go out of my way to request another tour with Youk. He really made the experience amazing. I would enthusiastically book a tour through this company again.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! We are thrilled to hear that Youk and our drivers made your two-day Angkor tour so memorable. It’s great to know that Youk’s knowledge, planning, and attention to detail helped you enjoy the temples while avoiding the crowds, and that the Tuk Tuk and driver services added to your comfort. We will share your kind words with Youk and the team. We look forward to welcoming you back to Siem Reap for another unforgettable experience!

Do the sunrise with Youk
Our trip to Angkor was amazing. All the temples and palaces were absolutely breathtaking. But, our tour guide, Youk, made these two days totally awesome. His sense of humour and knowledge of the surrounding area was great. He also suggested places for pictures and had awesome tricks with the phone that made for amazing pictures. Seeing Angkor Thom, Angkor Wat, the sacred sword Temple, and finally the lady Temple was so impressive and magical. Being at Angkor Wat at 5am was so worth it.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted that your visit to Angkor was such a memorable experience. It’s fantastic to hear that Youk’s knowledge, humor, and photography skills made your two days even more special. Watching the sunrise at Angkor Wat is truly magical! We’ll be sure to share your kind words with Youk. We hope to welcome you back again soon!

Why this scores 75
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Siem Reap 2-Day Private Angkor Wat Tour with Sunrise: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Siem Reap.
How much does Siem Reap 2-Day Private Angkor Wat Tour with Sunrise cost?
+
Prices start at $32 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Siem Reap usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Siem Reap 2-Day Private Angkor Wat Tour with Sunrise take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Siem Reap is not rushed.
Is Siem Reap 2-Day Private Angkor Wat Tour with Sunrise worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 63 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Siem Reap, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Siem Reap 2-Day Private Angkor Wat Tour with Sunrise?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Siem Reap 2-Day Private Angkor Wat Tour with Sunrise suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 12. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 48-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Siem Reap 2-Day Private Angkor Wat Tour with Sunrise?
+
Around 22 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Siem Reap can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Siem Reap and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Siem Reap 2-Day Private Angkor Wat Tour with Sunrise start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Siem Reap within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Siem Reap?
+
On Outty we rank every Siem Reap experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Small-Group and Guide tours, Angkor Wat full Day 'Small Group with sunset & Tour Guide, Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Guide from Siem Reap. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Siem Reap?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Siem Reap?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
