About this experience

This off-road adventure is the best way to capture stunning views of the natural beauty of Puerto Vallarta. You’ll drive for 30 minutes along the road with the bay on your right and the jungle on your left. One of the main attractions you’ll see is “Los Arcos,” a protected natural reserve that has become an icon for Vallarta residents. We will then pass through the village of Mismaloya, climb the mountain, and arrive at the ecotourism park “EDÉN VA,” a true paradise full of nature, waterfalls, and history. This location was part of the set where the famous movie “Predator,” starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, was filmed in 1987. You can swim in its crystal-clear waters and refresh yourself with a delicious drink. The last stop will be full of Mexican flavors, where you will taste different and unique tequilas at a small estate in the mountains, where the tequila-making process will be explained. Finally, a fun trip with a new experience and many photos to share.

Don't do this tour if you want an adrenaline/sightseeing adventure

I hate writing bad reviews, but I was so put off by this experience I feel a need to warn other people. Maybe I'm just the wrong person for the type of tour I chose, the other family seemed to enjoy themselves. I was looking for a fun off-roading/sightseeing adventure. What I got was essentially driving myself on 80% paved street/speedways 20% dirt road to a restaurant where we could spend more money to buy food. Stayed there an hour, then drove ourselves to a "tequila tasting" where they tried to to sell us tequila (more money). Then we drove ourselves back. The same trip could have been completed with a similar enjoyability by just spending $12 on a cab to drive you to actual local restaurants, not a random "local restaurant" that is clearly made exclusively for people on tours. Tour guides were nice. TL;TR minimal off-roading, drive yourself to a restaurant and a tequila sales pitch.

So much fun

This was definitely the highlight of our trip. The well-organized and the staff was fantastic. Our guide, David was awesome. He took the time to make sure we had everything we needed, including a plastic bag to put our backpack in so it didnt get wet/dirty. Since it was just us on this particular dune buggy tour, we had a more personal experience. He explained all of the options at the restaurant/swimming hole at the top, and allowed us some extra time there. Definitely do swimming--it's gorgeous! The tequila tasting was fun as well. It seemed that David knew and well-liked by everyone we met, which was great. It really added to the experience. This tour was a great way to see more of PV, along with some of the jungle area. We highly recommend this trip, and David. We're actually going back in April to get married and plan to go again with a couple other friends, and hope to have David as our guide again next time!

Response from the operator: We are so glad to hear you had fun! We´ll give David your compliments for the great work

Racer adventure

Enrique”limon” was our guide and was fantastic. Loved the attention to detail. As far as the tour itself I would only change that there is less city driving and more jungle driving. Thank you

Buggy ride to Predator mountain

The drive up to the film site was very relaxing and scenic. You do get to enjoy some off road driving but most of it is on the roadway which can be scary at times . Vehicle was in great condition . We visited the restaurant Don Tadeo which had great seafood. The tequila tasting portion of the tour was okay nothing special however did buy a few bottles. Lastly we had a good time with our tour guide David.

Side by Side RZR in Puerto Vallarta, Edén and Coast View: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Puerto Vallarta.

How much does Side by Side RZR in Puerto Vallarta, Edén and Coast View cost?

+

Prices start at $234 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Puerto Vallarta usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Side by Side RZR in Puerto Vallarta, Edén and Coast View take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Puerto Vallarta is not rushed.

Is Side by Side RZR in Puerto Vallarta, Edén and Coast View worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Puerto Vallarta, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Side by Side RZR in Puerto Vallarta, Edén and Coast View?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Side by Side RZR in Puerto Vallarta, Edén and Coast View suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 4. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Side by Side RZR in Puerto Vallarta, Edén and Coast View?

+

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Puerto Vallarta can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Puerto Vallarta and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Side by Side RZR in Puerto Vallarta, Edén and Coast View start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Puerto Vallarta within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Puerto Vallarta?

+

On Outty we rank every Puerto Vallarta experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Winner 2026 Downtown Vallarta Food Tour with Vallarta Food Tours, Taco Adventure Evening Food Tour with Vallarta Food Tours, Food & Mixology Tour:Tequila,Tacos, Mezcal and Agave Cocktails. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Puerto Vallarta?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Puerto Vallarta?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
