Wonderful experience

Mr Army picked the 4 of us up at the ship in a very nice, comfortable SUV. He was waiting with my name on a sign which made it very easy for us. He spoke good English and was very knowledgeable, answering any questions we had along the way. The temple tours and private longboat canal excursions were so much better than the ship arranged tours because it was just the 4 of us and Army. No following "the umbrella " and straining to hear in a crowd of 40 others. Army was very accommodating by finding an ATM for me during the trip and other personal requests. A wonderful experience! I'm dreading going back to some of the "ship arranged" excursions after being spoiled by this one.

Response from the operator: Dear Jerry Thank you for your great review on your tour "Shore Excursion from Laem Cha Bang Port to Bangkok (Private tour)" with our Quality Thai Guide *Army* and our driver "Non". Thank you again for your travel with us. We wish you all the best.

Great Tour - Guide Was Best of the Best

We took a private tour of Bangkok with Time. We’ve traveled all over the world and taken many, many tours. Time was definitely the Best of the Best tour guides! His passion for both Bangkok and his job was obvious. He was very knowledgeable, funny, and made the tour personal for us. We loved the Grand Palace, the Temples, and the river cruise. We were tired and ready to go home after a three week trip to Southeast Asia, and Time made our last day one of the highlights of our trip!

Response from the operator: Dear Mark Thank you for your great review on your tour "Shore Excursion from Laem Cha Bang Port to Bangkok (Private tour)" with our Quality Thai Guide *Time* and our driver "Non". Thank you again for your travel with us. We wish you all the best.

Brilliant 1st Visit to Bangkok. Highly Recommended.

A superbly memorable rewarding experience. Mr Army our tour guide tailored our day according to our needs. He did a brilliant job guiding us around the Grand Palace and other temples as well as a narrow boat experience on the Bangkok river and canals. Mr Tom, our driver was accomplished. The whole trip was top notch. Highly recommended.

Amazing Bangkok tour

Lek was an amazing guide for our tour of Bangkok from the cruise port. She shared a wealth of information with us showing us all the major sights from the notable Buddhas to the Kings Palace to the boat ride along the canal where we were able to see how old Bangkok still is today. We gained a great understanding of Thai history from her. Lek is truly professional & personable & we were lucky to have her for the day & wouldn’t hesitate to request her again! We were transported by her driver who was amazingly always at the right time & place to pick us up with water & wipes on hand. The day was perfectly coordinated! Thanks Lek for a memorable day!

Response from the operator: Dear Paradise Thank you very much for your great review for your "Shore Excursion from Laem Cha Bang Port to Bangkok (Private tour)" with our guide "Lek" and our driver. We were very happy to hear this. Thank you again for your experience with us. We wish you and your family all the best. Quality Thai Guide team

Wonderful day in Bangkok

My family and I did Shore Excursion from Laem Cha Bang Port to Bangkok (Private tour) with Quality Thai Guide. Our tour guide Noom picked us on time as appointment, he was knowledgeable and relaxed. We visited the highlights of Bangkok and the boat tour. The choice of restaurant and food was great. The driver Tom also nice and we had a very comfortable a/c minibus. It was a bit long day for travel but we enjoyed it.

Shore Excursion from Laem Cha Bang Port to Bangkok (Private tour): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bangkok.

How much does Shore Excursion from Laem Cha Bang Port to Bangkok (Private tour) cost?

+

Prices start at $5800 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bangkok usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Shore Excursion from Laem Cha Bang Port to Bangkok (Private tour) take?

+

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bangkok is not rushed.

Is Shore Excursion from Laem Cha Bang Port to Bangkok (Private tour) worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 46 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable family friendly in Bangkok, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Shore Excursion from Laem Cha Bang Port to Bangkok (Private tour)?

+

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Shore Excursion from Laem Cha Bang Port to Bangkok (Private tour) suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Shore Excursion from Laem Cha Bang Port to Bangkok (Private tour)?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bangkok can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bangkok and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Shore Excursion from Laem Cha Bang Port to Bangkok (Private tour) start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bangkok within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Bangkok?

+

On Outty we rank every Bangkok experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Bangkok Backstreets Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Old Siam Bangkok Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Tingly Thai Cooking Class with Morning Market Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Bangkok?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Bangkok?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
