    Terrible experience

Terrible tour guide. Spent 3 min English, 25 min Chinese. Leave a couple wife with crane behind after Takayama city and asked their relative to tell them to take another bus. Short at me when asked to leave afyer photo taking. Never seen a tour guide shouting to guests who are paying their salary. Unprofessional, ridiculous and unacceptable.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify that this is a shared group tour with a fixed schedule, and specific time is allocated at each attraction. The guide must ensure the entire group departs on time and cannot delay the itinerary for two travelers when the majority of guests are waiting. Guests are clearly informed of the meeting and departure times and are responsible for returning to the designated point on time. While communication should always remain professional, maintaining the schedule is necessary to avoid disrupting the experience of all other guests on the tour.

A great excursion to see many iconic places with a very professional multilingual guide and the comfort of luxurious bus

Frank, our tour guide is excellent. He is culturally knowledgeable, logistically thorough, attentive, kind, patient, and with a very rare talent of speaking fluent English, Japanese and Chinese. The bus is in premium condition, comfortable, super clean, and the driver was a pro! Within one day, we covered a lot of nice photogenic spots without being rushed. I really enjoyed this trip. The cost performance ratio of this tour was very high. The time saving coupled with the convenience factor was great. The value of having a professional guide with multilingual capacity was enormous. So, these are the factors lead me to return to this tour operator for my future excursion.

Response from the operator: We're delighted to hear you enjoyed the tour, our comfortable bus, and Frank's multilingual guidance. Your kind words mean a lot to us, and we look forward to welcoming you on another adventure soon!

Long trip, maybe not worth the payoff for some

Worth a day trip, but the tour guide doesn't provide much. You don't get enough time in Takayama, but Shirakawago was great scenery, culture, and architecture. . In all, a lot of driving, but maybe not the payoff I was hoping for since my time is limited.
