    INCREDIBLE

This was SUCH an amazing tour!! I’m a bit obsessed with sharks, but I’ve always been too nervous to go in open ocean with bigger sharks. Felipe and his team gave an extremely thorough and informative safety briefing to make sure everyone knew how to feel safe and comfortable in the water. And while in the water, he takes SUCH good care of everyone!! And the sharks… SOOO COOL!!! I absolutely loved getting to enjoy being in the water with them and seeing how curious they were about humans!! Oh and Felipe gave us a little preview of some of the incredible footage from the day and we can’t wait to see more!!! So very highly recommend this tour and company!!!!

    Amazing experience

We joined a tour with Orca Dive Expeditions, and we felt incredibly lucky to witness so much marine wildlife in its natural habitat. It was an unforgettable experience. Felipe made us feel safe while keeping the tour fun and engaging from start to finish. It’s important to understand that no one can guarantee wildlife sightings. We didn’t get to see orcas, but we experienced something just as incredible, we swam near thousands of mobula rays only a few meters away. It was a breathtaking sight we’ll never forget. Appreciate whatever the ocean gives you that day. It was clear to us that the entire team works hard to provide the best experience possible while always respecting the animals and their environment. If you have the chance, don’t hesitate to book this tour. It’s an adventure that’s absolutely worth it.

The crew did an amazing job. Very informative. I felt very safe when entering the water. We unfortunately didn't see any sharks while we were in the water but saw a few from the boat. This was not for a lack of trying from the crew! It was a wonderful experience.

    Amazing experience - highly recommend!

We had an absolutely incredible experience with Felipe and his crew, truly 5-star service from start to finish. From the moment we stepped on the boat, they made sure everything was seamless, including getting our gear perfectly fitted and making everyone feel comfortable. The boat ride out was quick and scenic, with a stop by the Arch for some great photo opportunities. Once we arrived at the snorkel spot, the crew walked us through safety and got everything set up with professionalism and care. The wildlife sightings were beyond anything we expected- we were lucky enough to see a baby mako shark right away, followed by two more makos and even a sea lion! On the way back, they went above and beyond by using extra time to search for more marine life, and it paid off—we saw a mobula ray, humpback whale, and dolphins! Felipe and his team were not only friendly and attentive, but also incredibly knowledgeable, making the experience both fun and educational. They also provided drinks and snacks, which was appreciated. Tip - while the weather was warm, we forgot the boat ride can be cold in the wind. Another guest had a Terry cloth looking snuggy which so smart, quick drying while providing warmth. Bring something similar for the boat ride. We would highly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Cabo, an unforgettable experience with an outstanding crew!

We are absolutely thrilled with our experience with Orca Dive Baja – it was simply epic!

Communication with Felipe was fantastic from the very beginning. We wanted to snorkel with sharks on the tour. We had to wait quite a while for the sharks because orcas were nearby. But instead of turning back or giving up early, Felipe and Richard remained patient, optimistic, and confident that the sharks would eventually appear. You could tell they were doing everything they could to make this experience possible – and this patience ultimately paid off. We actually got to swim with three sharks – an indescribable moment! Felipe and Richard are absolute professionals when it comes to handling sharks. Their calm demeanor, expertise, and respectful treatment of the animals made us feel safe at all times. This is incredibly important, especially during such intense encounters in the open ocean. On the way back, we were even able to watch orcas hunting – a truly spectacular natural phenomenon. What was particularly impressive was that they took so much time for us to observe the animals extensively. We were out on the water for a very long time, without any time pressure – it was truly about savoring the moment. This adventure was extraordinary, intense, and absolutely unforgettable. We wholeheartedly recommend Orca Divebacher – professional, respectful, and with genuine passion for the ocean. Many thanks to Felipe and Richard – we will definitely be back!

Shark Safari & Snorkel Adventure in Cabo San Lucas: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Los Cabos.

How much does Shark Safari & Snorkel Adventure in Cabo San Lucas cost?

    +

Prices start at $206 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Los Cabos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Shark Safari & Snorkel Adventure in Cabo San Lucas take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Los Cabos is not rushed.

Is Shark Safari & Snorkel Adventure in Cabo San Lucas worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 87 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Los Cabos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Shark Safari & Snorkel Adventure in Cabo San Lucas?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Shark Safari & Snorkel Adventure in Cabo San Lucas suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Shark Safari & Snorkel Adventure in Cabo San Lucas?

    +

Around 30 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Los Cabos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Los Cabos and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Shark Safari & Snorkel Adventure in Cabo San Lucas start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Los Cabos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Los Cabos?

    +

On Outty we rank every Los Cabos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cabo 4x4 ATV Tour with Tequila Tasting and Mexican Buffet Lunch, Ziplining and UTV Desert Adventure from Los Cabos, Cabo Beach Camel Ride, Mexican Buffet and Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Los Cabos?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Los Cabos?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
