Express Bus Worth The Ride
Excellent, we literally left the airport and the bus was waiting right in front of us. We had a smooth ride into Munich.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your great feedback. We are very happy to hear that the bus was conveniently waiting right outside the airport and that you had a smooth and comfortable journey into Munich.

It's great to know that your round-trip transfer went smoothly and met your expectations. Thank you for choosing the Lufthansa Express Bus. Very rude driver. Shouted...
Very rude driver. Shouted at us because we do not understand German. Will not reccomend this transfer to anyone.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are very sorry to hear about your experience. Courtesy and respectful communication are values we expect from all of our drivers, and we regret that you felt this standard was not met during your journey. We take comments like yours seriously and will discuss this matter internally with the team to reinforce the importance of clear and respectful communication with all passengers, regardless of the language they speak. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, as it helps us improve our service.

Great Transfer Service
Taking the Lufthansa Bus was lovely. It was significantly less expensive than a private transfer service or a taxi. Not many people were on the bus so everyone had plenty of room, and the bus was clean. We were all dropped off at the Munich main train station and then it was a fairly short walk to our hotel. I would definitely use that service again.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your wonderful feedback. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed using the Lufthansa Express Bus for your transfer from Munich Airport to the city center. It's great to know that you appreciated the comfort, cleanliness, and value of our service, and that the stop at Munich Central Station was convenient for reaching your hotel. Thank you for choosing the Lufthansa Express Bus. We look forward to welcoming you on board again during your next visit to Munich. Safe travels!

Hasn’t worked-twice
I signed up for this thinking it would be convenient and easy to locate, unlike the ote I booked in Dublin in 2025. Twice burned. These busses may actually exist, but nobody acknowledges their existence. Last year in Dublin we were told this type of bus doesn’t go in to the city. I say take the train or find another form of transport from now on.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear about the negative experience you had in Dublin. However, we believe there may have been a mix-up, as this review appears to refer to a different service. Our Lufthansa Express Bus operates in Munich, providing a direct connection between Munich Airport and Munich Central Station. Hundreds of passengers use our service every day, and our buses depart regularly from clearly marked stops at both the airport and the city center. If you experienced any issue while using our Munich service, we would be grateful if you could contact us with more details so we can investigate. Otherwise, we kindly ask you to review whether this feedback may have been intended for another provider. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you on board in Munich in the future.

Why this scores 60
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Shared Arrival Transfer Munich Airport to Munich Central Station: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Munich.
How much does Shared Arrival Transfer Munich Airport to Munich Central Station cost?
+
Prices start at $7 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Munich usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Shared Arrival Transfer Munich Airport to Munich Central Station take?
+
Plan for about 0.7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Munich is not rushed.
Is Shared Arrival Transfer Munich Airport to Munich Central Station worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 287 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Munich, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Shared Arrival Transfer Munich Airport to Munich Central Station?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Shared Arrival Transfer Munich Airport to Munich Central Station suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 0.7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Shared Arrival Transfer Munich Airport to Munich Central Station?
+
Around 100 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Munich can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Munich and add a light layer if any part of the 0.7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Shared Arrival Transfer Munich Airport to Munich Central Station start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Munich within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Munich?
+
On Outty we rank every Munich experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guided Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site Tour with Train from Munich, Munich Classic Bike Tour @ 11.30am with Surfers & beergarden stop, Dachau Memorial Half-Day Tour from Munich (Early-Start). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Munich?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Munich?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
