Do not book this as ticket was not usable
We boarded the bus and driver could not scan QR code and we were forced to buy another ticket - have messaged to request a refund but no answer - very disappointing !
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We're very sorry for the inconvenience you experienced. As discussed in our correspondence, we have already confirmed that you will receive a refund. We would also like to note that your review was posted shortly after your request was submitted. While we always aim to respond as quickly as possible, we kindly ask our customers to allow 24–48 hours for us to review and process inquiries. We appreciate your patience and are glad we were able to resolve this matter. We hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a smoother experience in the future.

Double charged
The trip was fine but I ordered tickets for my daughter and I and when we got on the bus, the driver said that they not good. I had to pay again. Called Vitor nd was told that. They would open a claim even though he could see that I paired double.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about the confusion with your tickets and that you had to pay a second time on board. This is certainly frustrating, especially when you had already purchased valid tickets in advance. For bookings made through Viator, all payment and refund claims must be handled directly through the platform, as they manage the transaction and ticket issuance. We’re glad to hear that a claim was opened, and we recommend continuing the process with Viator support so the double charge can be properly reviewed and resolved. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

it doesn’t work driver can’t scan the barcode. i end up pay twice!! 🥲
barcode doesn’t works! i have to pay with the driver again. not recommended u don’t need to make reservations just go and pay at spot
Response from the operator: Thank you for your review, Nittaya. We are very sorry the barcode on your voucher couldn’t be scanned — that can unfortunately happen with some Viator-issued tickets. In such cases, the driver must issue a manual ticket so you can still travel, but of course you should not end up paying twice. Since the original booking and payment were made through Viator, the refund can only be processed directly by them. Please contact Viator support with your booking reference and explain that the barcode was not readable and you had to pay the driver again — they will handle the reimbursement for you. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.

Trip Advisor tickets are invalid
This bus ticketing system totally did not work. I bought 2 one way tickets the night before and the QR code was invalid upon arrival. Had to pay twice. Do NOT buy these non refundable tickets through Trip Advisor!
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback, Anna. We’re very sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with your tickets. Since your booking and payment were processed directly through Viator, please reach out to Viator’s customer service to request a refund — they will then contact us, and of course we will immediately approve the reimbursement from our side. We regret the inconvenience and hope this can be resolved quickly for you.

Why this scores 46
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Shared Departure Transfer: Munich Central Station to Munich Airport: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Munich.
How much does Shared Departure Transfer: Munich Central Station to Munich Airport cost?
+
Prices start at $7 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Munich usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Shared Departure Transfer: Munich Central Station to Munich Airport take?
+
Plan for about 0.8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Munich is not rushed.
Is Shared Departure Transfer: Munich Central Station to Munich Airport worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 46 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.4/5 across 55 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Munich, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Shared Departure Transfer: Munich Central Station to Munich Airport?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Shared Departure Transfer: Munich Central Station to Munich Airport suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 0.8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Shared Departure Transfer: Munich Central Station to Munich Airport?
+
Around 19 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Munich can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Munich and add a light layer if any part of the 0.8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Shared Departure Transfer: Munich Central Station to Munich Airport start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Munich within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Munich?
+
On Outty we rank every Munich experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guided Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site Tour with Train from Munich, Munich Classic Bike Tour @ 11.30am with Surfers & beergarden stop, Dachau Memorial Half-Day Tour from Munich (Early-Start). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Munich?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Munich?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
