Worth going, if you can afford it.
Found this tea whisking experience through agoda. Not the cheapest tea experience however the product description, departure and return, what to expect descriptions were clear, detailed and professional. My review is, go for it if you can afford it. It was very pleasant experience with knowledgable and pleasant company. This is exactly as described and more. It is a private session, tea master, english guide and my group. My english guide was excellent. Good english, professional, confirming appointment and pick up time and location, literally going the extra distance to pick us up from the metro station. Very thoughtful. Helping us take photos. After the session, continued by suggesting a place for dinner. I had 2 tea measters, one for tea whisking, one for gongfu cha. It was private hands on experience, with instructions and all the tea sets and utensils provided. We sampled 3 types of tea, that were unique experiences, and worth the price. We started at 1pm, finished at 5pm. Worth mentioning, there was no hard selling of tea!

How far in advance should I book Shanghai Discover the Art of Chinese Tea Culture?

Around 0 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Shanghai?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Shanghai?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
