    Well organized group tour

Pari was a very good guide. She was well informed and knowledgable about Tajik history, culture, and the local sights. She explained and guided us in the Panjakent market bazaar and helped us change money for local purchases. The tour is well designed with the first stop in Panjakent and the bazaar, where you can exchange money and buy snacks and water for the full day tour. This is a group tour , so be prepared to wait and move at the speed of the group. This was most frustrating at the morning border procedures where you have to wait for everyone in the group to pass through the border. It took 90 minutes to pass through and then wait on the other side for the full group. Once the group was together, the rest of the tour went smoothly. The tajik countryside was really beautiful and seeing the small villages and nature was the highlight of the trip. The lunch was at a new and beautiful location at the third lake. They had vegetarian options too. We saw all seven of the lakes and each one was different. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour for a fast day trip to Tajikstan.

    A Beautiful Day in Tajikistan

I had a wonderful experience traveling to Tajikistan this past Tuesday, and I even made a new friend along the way. All seven lakes were absolutely stunning, and the tour gave me such a lovely first taste of Tajikistan that I have now added a return trip to my bucket list. The group itself was a bit reserved, but Tajikistan, the guide, the driver, and the locals more than made up for it. I also really appreciated everyone’s patience when I was delayed at the border due to an unexpected registration issue in Uzbekistan. I felt very sorry for the wait, but the team handled everything with kindness and professionalism. Overall, I would rate the day 10 out of 10. It was a beautiful adventure and one of my most memorable travel experiences. Kheyli mamnoon! In ruz kheyli ghashang bud.

Wonderful mountains views so close to Samarkand

After a few days in the very much touristic Samarkand I decided to take a break for a more tranquil trip and booked for this daily tour to visit the seven lakes of Tajikistan, which are actually quite close to the border to Uzbekistan and this to Samarkand. The trip was well organized and our guide was entertaining and knowledgeable about the visited region and close-by city, where we also could visit the local bazar. I would definitely recommend this trip if you are up to take a break from the over-crowded Samarkand holiday visit.

Perfect tour in Tajikistan woth Tranquil Holidays

This tour was simply amazing! Suni, our guide, was adorable, and she told us interesting information about Tajikistan. She was full. of energy, always smiling, always replying to our questions. The driver was excellent, really professional and experienced since the route was a little bit difficult. The landscapes are totally worth the trip. We had our lunch included, and it was delicious, some French fries with ground beef shashlik.

    Worth the price

The tour was worth the price. Specially tour guide Umeda was very accommodating and she made the tour more fun. Despite the weather and we could not make it to the 7th lake, still we had a fun long ride. The food also were satisfying. We were never hungry nor thirsty on the whole trip! Would definitely book with them. Just one note: make sure to go to toilet on time before the tour starts.

Seven Beauties of Tajakistan Seven Lakes Day Trip From Samarkand: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Samarkand.

How much does Seven Beauties of Tajakistan Seven Lakes Day Trip From Samarkand cost?

    +

Prices start at $79 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Samarkand usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Seven Beauties of Tajakistan Seven Lakes Day Trip From Samarkand take?

    +

Plan for about 14 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Samarkand is not rushed.

Is Seven Beauties of Tajakistan Seven Lakes Day Trip From Samarkand worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Samarkand, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Seven Beauties of Tajakistan Seven Lakes Day Trip From Samarkand?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Seven Beauties of Tajakistan Seven Lakes Day Trip From Samarkand suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 14-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Seven Beauties of Tajakistan Seven Lakes Day Trip From Samarkand?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Samarkand can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Samarkand and add a light layer if any part of the 14-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Seven Beauties of Tajakistan Seven Lakes Day Trip From Samarkand start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Samarkand within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Samarkand?

    +

On Outty we rank every Samarkand experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include A City Tour Of Samarkand: The Pearl Of The East, Private Samarkand City Tour with Transport: Inside Attractions, Guide / excursion service in Samarkand. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Samarkand?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Samarkand?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
