Excellent Private Tour for family group

We had a wonderful time in Seoul thanks to Here Korea. They were fantastic and we are so pleased to have found them. We did 3 private half day tours with a car, driver, and guide, a small group tour to the DMZ, and 1 full private day tour. Harry was very responsive and provided suggestions for our itinerary and we were able to pay using PayPal. I explained that we had an elderly family member with us who had difficulty walking long distances. The night before our first tour, Harry dropped off a lightweight metro wheelchair at our hotel which we used for the week. This very thoughtful gesture meant that our elderly relative did not miss out on any of the activities. Everyone had a wonderful time as a result. Thank you Harry! Our guide (Jung) was so helpful and made everything so easy for us. She found wonderful traditional restaurants, excellent shopping, and knew instinctively when to give us free time and then re-join us. Our guide was always on time, we had a big clean van, and great driver. I wish I could give more than 5*. The pacing of our tours were perfect and we were able to see all Seoul highlights. I found it very difficult to find a local tour operator in Seoul who could arrange a private tour for our family group and am very grateful that I found Here Korea. If you are looking to do a private Seoul tour with car, driver, and guide then I highly recommend that you use this local tour company. Their small group tour to DMZ was also excellent (with guide Joo-Ee).

Response from the operator: Thank you for joining our tour service and glad to hear that you enjoyed the tour with my tour guide! Hope you have good memory in Korea! Best Regards Harry

Amazing Private Tour of Seouls Hidden Gems!

Miyeon (Monica) was amazing! She took us to so many places in such an efficient manner, we really got to see all of the hidden gems of Seoul in 1 day, and got shopping and eating amazing food for lunch ( Korean fried chicken at a spot she recommended) with her. She was so sweet and knowledgeable! We never could have done that by ourselves without getting frustrated and taking an entire week. Highly recommend doing this private tour with her. Our driver was great too! He knew exactly where to park so we went right into the next area with ease.

Response from the operator: Thank you for joining our tour service and glad to hear that you enjoyed the tour with my tour guide! Hope you have good memory in Korea! Best Regards Harry

    Wonderful Day in Seoul

Christine and Young were so wonderful to my family. We were visiting Korea to learn family history, and Christine was so kind. She provided so many details and interesting facts, and the entire day from Gyeongbukgong palace to the tea ceremony was wonderful. I will absolutely contact them again for a tour the next time we are in Korea.

Response from the operator: Thank you for joining our tour service and glad to hear that you enjoyed the tour with my tour guide! Hope you have good memory in Korea! Best Regards Harry

Amazing tour guide and amazing day

We had an absolutely amazing time and our tour guide Jake Kwon was WONDERFUL My sister and I rented hanbok and he fit it into our schedule so well and also gave us some information on the history of hanbok. We learned so so much on our tour due to his incredible knowledge on Korean history. We went to an amazing BBQ restaurant which I felt I should add. Jake was also so respectful and accommodating. He was so courteous of the locals especially in the Bukchon Hannok village, making sure other groups knew to be quiet. He even helped my dad down steps as my dad had just had knee replacement surgery. Jake also would look for shady areas and even would walk and get the van himself so we wouldn’t have to. This gave us more time to explore and kept us from getting too hot which we were so thankful for. I also wanted to add he was very nice when my brother (10) got sick and even offered to take him to the hospital while we did the cable cars (which was not necessary because he just had too much ice cream but was a very generous offer). I would SO recommend our tour guide Jake Kwon as well as the tour itself it was a must-see for Seoul visitors!!

If you’re going to Seoul this is the tour guide you want!

We had the most incredible experience with our tour guide, Harry! He went above and beyond to ensure our private tour was unforgettable. Not only did he accommodate our extra family members last minute, but he also tailored the experience perfectly to our interests. Harry's knowledge of Seoul's history and traditional spots for food and shopping items was impressive. He even took stunning photos of us throughout the day, showcasing his hidden talent as a photographer. Thank you, Harry, for an unforgettable day we couldn't have asked for a better guide!

Seoul Private Tour with hidden gem of Seoul: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seoul.

How much does Seoul Private Tour with hidden gem of Seoul cost?

    +

Prices start at $90 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seoul usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Seoul Private Tour with hidden gem of Seoul take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seoul is not rushed.

Is Seoul Private Tour with hidden gem of Seoul worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seoul, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Seoul Private Tour with hidden gem of Seoul?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Seoul Private Tour with hidden gem of Seoul suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Seoul Private Tour with hidden gem of Seoul?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seoul can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seoul and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Seoul Private Tour with hidden gem of Seoul start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seoul within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Seoul?

    +

On Outty we rank every Seoul experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include DMZ Tour: Defector Q&A, Tunnel & Suspension Bridge /Hotel pick up, Best DMZ Tour Seoul: Defector Q&A, 3rd Tunnel & Suspension Bridge, 2026 Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best: DMZ Tour from Seoul. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Seoul?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Seoul?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
