Wonderful, tailored evening walk in Hongdae

Kinam is a wonderful guide - he is creative, offers facts and views about the history of the area, acts as an interpreter, and facilitates photo making. I do street portraiture, and was looking for someone to help me communicate with strangers. Kinam helped me with this very well and I got a number of strong portraits. We also spoke about our interest in film photography. I highly recommend a walk with him.

Great time!

Kinam was very nice and sat with me to help prepare with me so that I get the best quality shots possible. I didn’t use much of the film the night of the booking, so he let me keep the camera for a couple of extra days during my stay in Seoul to shoot around the city, which was obviously above and beyond of him. If you’ve wanted to give film photography a try, this is a great into opportunity.

Response from the operator: Hi, Jordan, Thank you for your review. It was a pleasure talking with you about the film industry in each country. I hope your plan to study film abroad goes well, and if you have any questions about the Korean film industry or want to study abroad, please contact me at any time. Cheers!

Awesome tour to slow down and get creative!

So happy we booked this tour! Kinam was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. He showed us how to use the cameras before we started an extremely fun and peaceful walk around a more local area in Hongik we wouldn't have found on our own. It was just what we needed to slow down and take notice of all the small beautiful things around us and explore the area with a creative and thoughtful eye. Kinam even recommended places for us to go and the best spot for dinner afterward where we had our favorite meal of our whole trip. Several days later he messaged us all of our photos once they were developed and it was like a treat all over again to see what we captured. We had about 30 images each. So fun! We can't recommend this tour enough! It is a highlight day from our time in Korea.

Response from the operator: Hi Stefanie. I'm glad that you and Zane were able to have a good time in Seoul. I also traveled a lot and there were places and restaurants that I always wanted to introduce when my friends came to visit from abroad, so it was nice to be able to introduce them to you. The lovely images of your couple on camera will be remembered forever. Take care~

Eye opener 📸

I met Kinam in Hongdae. We went on an amazing tour. I learn alot of film photography and the mechanics of film. He was very patient and encouraging, prompting me to try new styles. I also learn about the culture. Definitely planning a next trip and would be meeting Kinam again. You would never regret a session with him.

Response from the operator: Hello Selva. I'm glad you had a good time in Seoul. I felt like I was hanging out with an old friend because I could hear interesting stories about Singapore while taking pictures together. Please contact me whenever you come back to Seoul. I will also contact you if I ever need to go to Singapore.

Seoul Film Camera Club: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seoul.

How much does Seoul Film Camera Club cost?

+

Prices start at $80000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seoul usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Seoul Film Camera Club take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seoul is not rushed.

Is Seoul Film Camera Club worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seoul, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Seoul Film Camera Club?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Seoul Film Camera Club suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 12. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Seoul Film Camera Club?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seoul can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seoul and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Seoul Film Camera Club start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seoul within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Seoul?

+

On Outty we rank every Seoul experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include DMZ Tour: Defector Q&A, Tunnel & Suspension Bridge /Hotel pick up, Best DMZ Tour Seoul: Defector Q&A, 3rd Tunnel & Suspension Bridge, 2026 Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best: DMZ Tour from Seoul. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Seoul?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Seoul?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
