Is this your a scam?

The tour guide didn’t show up. No information provided, didn’t answer messages and the phone number provided isn’t real. Extremely disappointing for a booking from this website as I would assume they confirm if tours are legitimate.

No guide, no contact available on the number listed!

Tour guide didn't show up. No staff at pick up point had any idea. Hope we get our money back. This seems to be a scam. Avoid.

Not quite the high standard of intrepid tours I have experienced before.

Our guide was very good and explained with enthusiasm and gave us a variety of food options. However at the end to get to the dessert option we were required to pay for a uber/taxi for us and the guide. I am sure the food at this place could have been resourced close to where we already were as it was an option for breakfast at the villa the next morning. Maybe not the drink that was presented with it? I thought the taxi could either have been included in the price or at least we should have known about it prior to the tour!! Still plenty of food............. Necessary, I am not sure about that............ a touch disappointing

Great food and a great night out!

Food tours are without a doubt my favourite thing to do when travelling - I was a little unsure about this area at first as most food tours offered are based on modern restaurant experiences (nice, but not really what I was after) so I wasn't sure how authentic it could be. It ended up being really great though! They make an effort to take you to hidden warungs or restaurants that focus on traditional indonesian recipes hidden amongst the cafes and restaurants that could be in Melbourne or anywhere. In addition, our guide Ratih was one of the most helpful, friendly and knowledgeable guides we've had on food tours around the world, and was able to answer all our questions about Indonesian food, agriculture and culture and the different regions and influences. She also quickly changed the itinerary when she realised we had already been to one of the warungs on the program (it was just the 2 of us on the tour) in order to introduce us to more places and gave us recommendations for dishes to order next time we went there.

Great evening with Ayu

We have a great evening with Ayu, traveling the food culture of Bali, Java and Sumatra. Including the best Beef Redang I've ever had - the 3 day Redang at Pondok Duo. It was all local places, no other tourists, but right there in front of them! Ayu, was great fun, knowledgeable about the food, and shared many insights about Balinese culture.

Response from the operator: Thank you, Stephen It's been a great time, thank you for joining our food tour, especially enjoying our beef rendang :) Keep in touch and stay foodie :)

Seminyak Indonesian Food Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seminyak.

How much does Seminyak Indonesian Food Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $35 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seminyak usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Seminyak Indonesian Food Tour take?

+

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seminyak is not rushed.

Is Seminyak Indonesian Food Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.7/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seminyak, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Seminyak Indonesian Food Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Seminyak Indonesian Food Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Seminyak Indonesian Food Tour?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seminyak can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seminyak and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Seminyak Indonesian Food Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seminyak within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Seminyak?

+

On Outty we rank every Seminyak experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best of Bali Waterfalls: Tibumana, Tukad Cepung and Tegenungan, Bali Instagram Tour: The Most Scenic Spots, Ubud Hot Springs and Waterfall Private Guided Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Seminyak?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Seminyak?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
