Fantastic catamaran cruise! Friendly crew, beautiful sunset, swim stops, great food & seamless transfers.
Need a trip advisor review based on the below info. There maybe a space restriction hence please adjust accordingly.First I need in 120 characters Our experience was truly unforgettable, beginning from the moment we booked until the cruise's conclusion. We were promptly picked up from our hotel in a comfortable van and dropped off afterward, with clear WhatsApp notifications informing us of the exact pickup and drop-off times. The van safely transported us to the port. At the dock, our sandals were stored securely in a designated box before we boarded an impressive, spotless, and visually stunning catamaran. There was a cozy netted area where we could relax, complemented by lounging cushions, along with clean toilets and a lounge area at the back for convenience. We enjoyed engaging conversations with the captain, sailor, and hostess, with Natalia especially being incredibly helpful and friendly. The cruise featured two exciting swim stops—one near the volcano and another at a scenic, less crowded spot—where pool noodles and safety vests were provided to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety. Unlimited soft drinks, beers, and wines kept us refreshed throughout the trip. While relaxing, they grilled delicious chicken and shrimp, served alongside perfectly cooked pasta, fresh Greek salad, and creamy tzatziki sauce. The journey also included a charming additional stop at the small island of Thirasia, offering a peaceful escape. On the return, we ventured far from Oia to enjoy a spectacular sunset away from the crowds, providing a memorable view. A small area for improvement would be the food portions; with 17 people onboard, some guests left still feeling hungry. Offering larger portions or additional servings would enhance the experience further. Overall, it was an incredible day filled with breathtaking sights, delicious food, and wonderful company. Special thanks to the gentleman who arranged the bus to and from the port, ensuring smooth transportation. We also appreciate the person who took care of our footwear, safely storing and retrieving our sandals. Additionally, a shout-out to the other gentleman on the boat—possibly named Horge?—who acted as a personal butler to everyone. He was very helpful, even cleaning toilets for those feeling seasick, and consistently supplied more beer, always keeping us well refreshed with plenty of drinks 😉

Really special thing to do in Santorini
Can't recommend this cruise and company enough. From the moment we booked the communication was great and they answered any questions I had. We got picked up from our hotel and taken to the catamaran, our captain Dimitris and Renato the sailor were both so friendly and knowledgable. Incredible views, swimming in the sea, delicious food and wine! If we come back to Santorini we'll be doing this again!!

Spectacular
We had the most amazing trip. From start to finish it was very professional. We were picked up from our apartment in an air-conditioned luxury mini bus by our welcoming driver. The team on the boat were so good and obviously enjoyed their work. Magnificent views of the black white and red beaches and Akrotiri lighthouse. Opportunity to swim with towels on hand. The boat was spotless. Just before the sunset viewing we were treated to our dinner cooked on board by the team. Cannot recommend this more. Well worth the money.

Definitely try this if you’re in Santorini & looking for a sunset cruise
We had a fabulous afternoon / evening sunset cruise from Vlychada . We got picked up at our hotel & from start to finish the whole experience was amazing. Our crew were first rate especially Felipe who was very knowledgeable & made sure we were all looked after - fetching drinks, towels & even blankets for those less hardy souls. The food was fab & cooking on a bbq on a moving catamaran is a skill in itself. I’d 100% recommend this - great food, great experience and great value for money

Why this scores 60
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Semi Private Santorini Catamaran Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santorini.
How much does Semi Private Santorini Catamaran Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $189 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santorini usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Semi Private Santorini Catamaran Tour take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santorini is not rushed.
Is Semi Private Santorini Catamaran Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santorini, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Semi Private Santorini Catamaran Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Semi Private Santorini Catamaran Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Semi Private Santorini Catamaran Tour?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santorini can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santorini and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Semi Private Santorini Catamaran Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santorini within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Santorini?
+
On Outty we rank every Santorini experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half Day Premium Catamaran Cruise in Santorini including Oia, Private Santorini Tailor Made - Choice of the Guest!, Private Classic Santorini Panorama: Visit Top Destinations. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Santorini?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Santorini?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
