Am awesome experience
An awesome experience to walk through the forest at the height of the trees, or even above. Also without seeing much of bigger animals.

Bridges, zip lines and sloths
We did the hanging bridges, canopy (zip lining) and sloth experience. Canopy tour was really good. A little waiting around due to the size of the group. The first 7 were seamless and then the last few once the staff caught up and overtook again. A little wait at the end. Ultimately a very good experience. Hanging bridges were nice, unfortunately we saw limited wildlife but to be amongst the trees was great. Sloth experience I wasn’t amazed by. Having seen some wild sloths earlier in the trip we had booked this with hope to see them slightly closer and clearer. Whilst our guide was very knowledgeable and they are all rescued which is amazing I would say perhaps try and see sloths in the wild On a different tour. The hot chocolate is amazing but I wouldn’t eat at the restaurant as it is very pricey. Overall a very good set up of activities and the shuttle was a huge help.

Relaxing and Educational
Relaxing experience for lovers of local flora. Guide was incredibly knowledgeable about local flora and fauna but trip itself is about the flora without many fauna sightings. It felt like a relaxing and gentle morning hike followed by a nice latte at the restaurant afterwards.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review! We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed a relaxing, peaceful morning exploring the beauty of our local flora. Our naturalists take great pride in sharing their deep knowledge of the cloud forest's unique plant life, so we are thrilled to hear your guide made the walk so engaging. Ending a gentle trek with a hot latte at the restaurant is truly the perfect way to soak in the atmosphere of the forest! Thank you again for visiting us, and we hope to welcome you back for another tranquil escape into nature!

Beautiful but no visible wildlife
Amazing experience walking in the clouds. 8 hanging bridges in total. Sadly we didn’t see any wildlife apart from a couple of small birds at the end. Not sure if it was the weather, the day, the season or what. A little disappointing, although still lovely to be in the rain forest.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us! Walking among the treetops across all 8 hanging bridges is truly a breathtaking way to experience the beauty and scale of the cloud forest. We completely understand your disappointment regarding the wildlife sightings. Nature can be remarkably unpredictable, and wildlife activity in the canopy often shifts depending on the weather, rain, temperature, and even time of day. While the lush flora and misty cloud forest views are always guaranteed, the wild animals follow their own schedules and sometimes stay deep in the foliage where they are hard to spot! We are so glad that you still enjoyed the beauty of the forest walk itself, and we hope to welcome you back on a future trip for another chance to spot some of the canopy's hidden creatures.

Selvatura Park Hanging Bridge Tour in Monteverde: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Monteverde.
How much does Selvatura Park Hanging Bridge Tour in Monteverde cost?
+
Prices start at $56 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Monteverde usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Selvatura Park Hanging Bridge Tour in Monteverde take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Monteverde is not rushed.
Is Selvatura Park Hanging Bridge Tour in Monteverde worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 563 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Monteverde, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Selvatura Park Hanging Bridge Tour in Monteverde?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Selvatura Park Hanging Bridge Tour in Monteverde suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Selvatura Park Hanging Bridge Tour in Monteverde?
+
Around 197 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Monteverde can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Monteverde and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Selvatura Park Hanging Bridge Tour in Monteverde start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Monteverde within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Monteverde?
+
On Outty we rank every Monteverde experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Original Canopy Tour Monteverde, Zipline, Monteverde Cloud Forest Guided Tour with Expert Naturalist, Monteverde Cloud Forest Guided Nature Walk with Expert Naturalist. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Monteverde?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Monteverde?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
