Boat was late to arrive, plenty of excuses but no sorry. Boat was not in the pictures on Viator, 5 people would be a huge squash.

Very Disappointing Experience – Unprofessional and Rude Staff

On the morning of our booking, we received a message informing us that there would be a 20–30 minute delay due to a busy port. However, in the end, we received our boat almost one hour later than the booked time, which significantly affected our schedule for the day. The introduction was given in very broken English, making it difficult to understand the instructions. On top of that, the boat was quite dirty, both inside and outside. Unfortunately, the experience became even worse when we returned the boat. Another boat from the same company almost crashed into ours. The other boat came extremely close to ours, and the staff member inspecting our boat immediately started shouting at me and behaving in an extremely rude and unprofessional manner. The two employees were then speaking to each other in Italian, and our staff member claimed that the boat and engine were probably damaged and that we would have to pay for the damage. Only after the other employee confirmed that there was no damage did the situation calm down. Despite the way I had been treated, the staff member did not apologize or even say goodbye. It was nice to spend the day on Lake Como, but unfortunately, the overall experience with this company was very disappointing. The staff were rude and unprofessional, and the delayed start, poor condition of the boat, and unpleasant return process made the experience far from enjoyable. Also, be aware that fuel is charged separately at €25 per hour of rental, which is an additional cost to consider when booking. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company.

Regarding the delay, unfortunately, we are currently in the middle of high season, and the port can become extremely busy. As we are not the only company operating from the pier, we sometimes have to wait for our turn before we can depart. Unfortunately, this is something beyond our control and the exact waiting time cannot always be predicted. We always do our best to minimize delays and keep our customers informed throughout the process. Regarding the cleanliness of the boat, all our boats are thoroughly cleaned every day before being handed over to our customers. We are therefore sorry to hear that you found the boat dirty. Given the high season and the continuous turnover of customers, it is possible that some dirt appeared shortly before your departure, as the boat had been used by other guests earlier that day. Nevertheless, we take your feedback seriously and will remind our team to pay particular attention to this. As for the situation upon your return, we are sorry that the interaction left you feeling uncomfortable. Safety and respect towards our guests are extremely important to us. We are glad, however, that after checking the boat and engine, it was confirmed that there was no damage and that no charge was made. Finally, we would like to clarify the fuel charge. The €25 per hour fuel fee is not a hidden cost. It is clearly stated on the Viator booking page before booking, during the booking process, on the booking confirmation/ticket, and again in the message sent to customers the evening before the activity. We understand that additional costs are an important consideration when booking, which is why this information is provided in advance. We sincerely appreciate your feedback, even though we are sorry that your experience was not the one we aim to provide. An unforgettable experience

An unforgettable experience. Good value, and Matteo who met us was friendly and helpful. The evening we went, the lake was particularly choppy, making it initially quite hard to steer, though it calmed down once we were some distance beyond Como city itself, and we found our stride. A beautiful way to see the beautiful lake, and pinpoint where you're staying and all the places you've been.

Amazing service! Easy to drive, hardest part of it was the parking. The gentleman was very helpfull!

Efficient

Easy to get to, concise instructions and helpful instructor who got us out on the boat quickly. Boat was in good shape and more than spacious enough.
