Segway trip to old Madrid
I had an excellent Segway trip for 2 hours with Andrea, from Wonder Tours. She was kind enough to teach me how to ride Segway and took me to the old part of Madrid and spent good amount of on explaining the history of Spain and Madrid. Thanks a lot Andrea and wonder tours.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review ✨ We’re delighted to hear you had such a great 2-hour Segway experience with Andrea. She’ll be very happy to know that her patience, clear instructions, and passion for history made your ride through Madrid’s old town both fun and meaningful. Helping guests feel confident on a Segway while discovering the history of Spain and Madrid is exactly what we aim for. Thank you for choosing Wonder Tours, and we truly hope to welcome you back for another adventure in the city 🚲✨

Highly recommend the Segway tours
Very nice tour with your guide Andrea. She explained us the history very well and also made sure we were comfortable in the segways. The tour ended with some tapas and drinks. Very well organised. Thank you!
Response from the operator: Hi there! Thanks a million for your review. We’re so glad Andrea took such good care of you and made sure you felt confident on the segways right from the start. It’s awesome to hear you enjoyed the tapas and drinks at the end—it’s definitely the best way to wrap up a day of history in Madrid! It was a pleasure having you, and we hope to see you again soon!

Such a fun tour!
We used the Madrid City Go card to book this tour. It is our first time using the segway. The staff was really patient in training my wife how to use it. The rest of our group only took a few minutes learning how to control it. The tour were led by two tour guides (Spanish & English). Our tour guide was great in giving us the history of all the sights. Unfortunately, the Spanish speaking group kept doing things on their own and ending up getting lost. Overall, we really enjoyed the tour. The service is really good, they even gave us water bottles at the end of our tour. We enjoyed it so much that we are trying to book for their Chocolate and churros Segway tour. Unfortuntely, I have been calling all day today but there is no one answer the phone.
Response from the operator: Hi there! Thank you so much for choosing us for your first Segway experience—we’re thrilled to hear you felt confident and enjoyed the tour (and the water!). So sorry about the other group getting distracted, but we’re glad your guide kept things great for you.

Response from the operator: Hi! Thanks a million for your review. Juan is going to be so happy when he reads this; he always goes the extra mile to make sure everyone feels safe and has a blast. You’re absolutely right—a friendly guide makes all the difference! We hope to see you again in Madrid soon. Cheers!

Why this scores 70
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Segway Ride in the Old City of Madrid: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Madrid.
How much does Segway Ride in the Old City of Madrid cost?
+
Prices start at $35 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Madrid usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Segway Ride in the Old City of Madrid take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Madrid is not rushed.
Is Segway Ride in the Old City of Madrid worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 113 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Madrid, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Segway Ride in the Old City of Madrid?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Segway Ride in the Old City of Madrid suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Segway Ride in the Old City of Madrid?
+
Around 40 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Madrid can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Madrid and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Segway Ride in the Old City of Madrid start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Madrid within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Madrid?
+
On Outty we rank every Madrid experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Madrid Essential: Historic Center, Plaza Mayor & Royal Palace, Madrid Walking Tour from Puerta del Sol to Retiro Park, Madrid Oscuro: Torture, Ghosts, Crimes and Legends. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Madrid?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Madrid?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
