    Must do!

Greg, our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Tour was properly described and met all expectations! Would definitely recommend. Van was equipped with air conditioning and perfect for the extra hot summer day.

    Outstanding Tour Option

This tour provides both the highlights and the history of the various sites around Sedona. Gregg was knowledgeable and fun to be with and very attentive to our questions about the area.

    Disappointing

The driver was very outgoing and friendly, however, he spoke really fast, as if we were friends who had been to Sedona before, and knew what we were looking at. From the driver's seat, he would say things like: "Look over there, and you will see XYZ". Sitting further back in the van, we could not see what he was pointing to. He should add more descriptive details. "to the right, in the middle of the mountain, at the very top, you will see a small boulder that looks like Darth Vader" (We were all looking at the whole mountain and not "seeing" it). He was very amenable to questions, so we just kept asking them, and saying things like "we don't see it", or "Could you say that again" (So many questions, he probably thought we were dense!) Additionally, his first stop was at the Chapel, which was supposed to be the highlight of our tour. On the way up the mountain, he told us what to look for inside, etc. All very informative. When we arrived, it was in the middle of 3pm mass, so we were not permitted to enter the chapel. When we mentioned it to him upon return to the bus, he said something like: "Oh, that's right, there is mass every day at 3pm". No apologies, just a shrug and an "oh well". The tour could have been so much more. We were disappointed.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the feedback, I will address this matter today . Safe travels

    Cindy was a wonderful...

Cindy was a wonderful tour guide. She had so much local knowledge to share, and did it in a fun and colorful way. She was also quick to pass out cold water, much appreciated in this hot weather.

Sedona Sightseeing Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sedona.

How much does Sedona Sightseeing Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $49 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sedona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Sedona Sightseeing Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sedona is not rushed.

Is Sedona Sightseeing Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 29 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sedona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Sedona Sightseeing Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Sedona Sightseeing Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Sedona Sightseeing Tour?

    +

Around 10 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sedona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sedona and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Sedona Sightseeing Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sedona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Sedona?

    +

Sedona's activity market is dominated by off-road jeep tours, and the difference between operators comes down to which trails they are permitted to run. Beyond that: vortex and energy walks, hot air balloon lifts at dawn, stargazing sessions in one of the darkest skies in the country, and Grand Canyon day runs north. We rank on permit access and group size. On Outty we rank every Sedona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small-Group Grand Canyon Complete Tour from Sedona or Flagstaff, Sedona’s ONLY Guided ATV Tour: Western Red Rock Backcountry, Sedona Off-Road Jeep Tour: Rugged Western Canyons & Wildlife. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Sedona?

    +

March to May and September to November. Summer afternoons bring monsoon storms. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Sedona?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
