The heart of our company is our very unique and special vortex experience where your guide will introduce you to and show you an ancient metaphysical phenomenon known as "Prana". We are the only company and guide in the entire world who has the ability to show this amazing and empowering phenomenon at will and on demand to our guests. This experience takes place in two phases; 1. training the guest to see the prana with their own eyes, and 2. training the guest to make the prana interact with them physically once they are able to see it. We have shown this phenomenon to nearly 2,000 guests with almost a 100% success rate. So far, the only exceptions are a very small number of guests who have had serious eye surgeries. You can find more information about Sedona Prana viewing by searching. This is a 100% real vortex experience, and maybe the only one. We truly hope to share it with you.
45 minutes here
Your guide will take you to the historic town of Jerome, Arizona, an officially designated "Ghost Town" situated on the north end of Mingus Mountain at the base of Cleopatra Hill, above the town of Clarkdale, Arizona. The journey to Jerome is not necessarily for the faint of heart as it was a frontier mining town that historically had a dark underbelly. While it is easy to avoid the more sordid history of Jerome, many of our guests are very intrigued by it. Because Jerome's history is so full and replete with numerous historical tangents, we are able to modify and dampen this part of the tour and just focus on the fun and scenic aspects if the guests prefer. But, as a popular visitor attraction, Jerome has a lot to offer in terms of scenic views, mining history, visitor attractions, and much more. One of our favorite stops is the Jerome Historical Society's Audry Headframe Park where you can stand on a glass see-through platform that is atop a 2,000 foot deep mine shaft, or not.

Historic Old Town Cottonwood
Our final stop on this tour will be in Old Town Cottonwood, Arizona where our guests can relax to enjoy some excellent food and wine tasting for either a late lunch or early dinner depending on the timing of the tour.

BEST DECISION WE MADE!
We had 1 day in Sedona and none of us had ever been before. Decided to hire Barry with Sedona Wine and Vortex Tours for a grand tour. BEST DECISION WE MADE! He was professional, extremely knowledgeable, easy going, and very passionate about the area. He pointed out the traditional landmarks, but also gave us the nicknames the locals use and why. His stories were informative and fun. The prana experience was incredible and his presentation of the spiritual aspects fascinating. Highly highly recommend this tour.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much, Terri. It was truly a pleasure spending the day with all of you and sharing Sedona together. I’m very happy that you chose the Grand Tour for your first visit here and even happier that it became such a memorable experience for you all. One of my favorite parts of what I do is helping guests experience Sedona beyond just the standard sightseeing stops — sharing the local stories, history, hidden perspectives, and of course the fascinating Prana Viewing experience that makes these tours so unique. I’m glad you enjoyed the balance of scenic beauty, fun, and deeper spiritual exploration throughout the day. You were all wonderful guests and I genuinely appreciated the great energy and conversation we shared together. Thank you again for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review. Wishing all of you safe travels and many wonderful adventures ahead, and hopefully we’ll see you back in Sedona again someday — Barry

Sedona-Jerome Scenic Vortex, Wine Tasting Grand Tour. See It All!: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sedona.
How much does Sedona-Jerome Scenic Vortex, Wine Tasting Grand Tour. See It All! cost?
+
Prices start at $199 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sedona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sedona-Jerome Scenic Vortex, Wine Tasting Grand Tour. See It All! take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sedona is not rushed.
Is Sedona-Jerome Scenic Vortex, Wine Tasting Grand Tour. See It All! worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sedona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sedona-Jerome Scenic Vortex, Wine Tasting Grand Tour. See It All!?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sedona-Jerome Scenic Vortex, Wine Tasting Grand Tour. See It All! suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Sedona-Jerome Scenic Vortex, Wine Tasting Grand Tour. See It All!?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sedona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sedona and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sedona-Jerome Scenic Vortex, Wine Tasting Grand Tour. See It All! start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sedona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sedona?
+
Sedona's activity market is dominated by off-road jeep tours, and the difference between operators comes down to which trails they are permitted to run. Beyond that: vortex and energy walks, hot air balloon lifts at dawn, stargazing sessions in one of the darkest skies in the country, and Grand Canyon day runs north. We rank on permit access and group size. On Outty we rank every Sedona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small-Group Grand Canyon Complete Tour from Sedona or Flagstaff, Sedona’s ONLY Guided ATV Tour: Western Red Rock Backcountry, Sedona Off-Road Jeep Tour: Rugged Western Canyons & Wildlife. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sedona?
+
March to May and September to November. Summer afternoons bring monsoon storms. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sedona?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
