Perfect!
Everything was amazing and far exceeded the expectations that my wife and I had for the sailing trip, which was her birthday gift and, thus, our expectations were already high!!! The trip was magical, the host the best host one can ask for on a sailboat, the boat was well-maintained and comfortable, and the route provided some of the best views on the Puget Sound!! We will definitely book again, especially when we have family and friends visiting us from out of state!

Peaceful & beautiful sunset sail!
Seems like the only private sailing tour available in the area and is absolutely worth the price!!! Purchased as an early birthday gift for my wife who loves being on the water. The sunset was breathtaking, Russ was an incredible host, and we were able to fully enjoy the experience and each other's company without being crammed in a boat with a bunch of strangers! We brought snacks and drinks and completely forgot about them because we were so entranced with the view. If you're on the fence about booking...do it!! You won't regret it.

This is the one you don’t want to miss.
We were two women on the boat with the captain. This was hands down the most personal, laid back, comfortable experience with Captain Russ. You can tell how much he loves the water and he loves to share it! He made sure that my wife and I were comfortable and let us know before any waves hit so we had our sea legs. He took time to show us the wildlife in the area and some of his favorite stories making this an even more memorable “experience.” The boat is beautiful! Hanging with him in the cockpit was great and you’re also allowed to take it all in on the bow if you want to walk out. This is THE best experience in the area. Don’t pass this one up!

Fun evening with great views!
What a great tour with amazing views! Our captain was a great host and we had a lot of fun. I loved being able to do this affordably with our small private group (6 of us). We saw lots of wildlife and a beautiful sunset. I would recommend to anyone!!

Beautiful sunset! Relaxing and peaceful sail on the water.
We really appreciated the private tour around Puget sound at sunset. Loved the wildlife and learning about the area and sailboats. We were glad we had layers with the breeze and setting sun, but the captain had our backs with blankets if needed. We felt it was the perfect way to close out our Pacific Northwest trip!

Seattle's Best Private Sailing Adventure on the Puget Sound BYOB!: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seattle.
How much does Seattle's Best Private Sailing Adventure on the Puget Sound BYOB! cost?
+
Prices start at $549 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seattle usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Seattle's Best Private Sailing Adventure on the Puget Sound BYOB! take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seattle is not rushed.
Is Seattle's Best Private Sailing Adventure on the Puget Sound BYOB! worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 141 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seattle, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Seattle's Best Private Sailing Adventure on the Puget Sound BYOB!?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Seattle's Best Private Sailing Adventure on the Puget Sound BYOB! suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Seattle's Best Private Sailing Adventure on the Puget Sound BYOB!?
+
Around 49 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seattle can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seattle and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Seattle's Best Private Sailing Adventure on the Puget Sound BYOB! start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seattle within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Seattle?
+
Seattle's best days leave the city: Mount Rainier, the San Juans, Olympic National Park and Snoqualmie Falls are all day-trip range, and each one lives or dies on the driver-guide. In town, Pike Place food tours, underground history walks and harbour cruises dominate. Our ranking favours operators with small vans over full coaches on the mountain runs. On Outty we rank every Seattle experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mt. Rainier Day Tour from Seattle, Seattle City and Snoqualmie Falls Half-Day Guided Tour, Chef Guided Food Tour of Pike Place Market. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Seattle?
+
June to September for clear Rainier views and reliable ferry weather. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Seattle?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
