About this experience
A scenic trip where you will be traveling by land and sea, going through coastal roads, sea sceneries, rural landscapes, villages like Port of Sóller or charming towns such as Sóller. In Sa Calobra, you will be dazzled by its majestic cliffs, crystal clear waters and the scenery at the Torrent the Pareis. From there, you will board a boat and sail along the coast towards Port Soller, the largest natural harbor of the Tramuntana. At Port Soller, you will board a vintage tramway to the village of Soller, just a few kilometers from the port, and considered one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. From there, you will get into a centenary train to return to Palma. Kindly note that this proposal is a scenic tour where the main highlight is the journey itself, especially addressed to those interested in the rides with the Soller tram and train. However, if you would like to count on more time to explore each destination, then we’d advise you to book our Mallorca Grand Tour instead.

Don’t book! Little time to explore and unpleasant tour guide.
We regret going in this tour. The tour had the general structure to be great, however little time was given to explore the places visited (15 mins in Port de Sóller and 0 mins in Sóller) and the tour guide was very rude throughout. Most info given was instructions on where to go with little shared about the places visited. From the very start the tour guide (Vivian) did not appear to want to be there and was generally unpleasant throughout being quite nasty to several visitors. The mountain road was interesting with great views. In the future I would book the train and tram from Palmer independently to have time to explore and go on a separate boat trip. The best part of the day was finally returning to our hotel.

Didn’t happen!
The information we had all said pick up 9.30am, they didn’t arrive , when I called at 9.45am they said they came at 9am!! So we didn’t get our trip and aviator are refusing to refund!!
Response from the operator: Dear Karen, As stated on the activity online, and also right next to the field where you needed to add your pick up location, the tour starts at 9:30AM from the main departure point. Nevertheless, if the guests choose our complimentary pick up service, as it was your case, we obviosly need to pick them up before the tour start time. We did inform you about the pick up time at your chosen pick up location, however, you weren't there and did not pick our phone calls, so our guide had to leave in order to pick up other guests. We also offered you the chance to change the tour to another date, but unfortunately, this wasn't feasible on your end. We are sorry that you didn't join the tour, and remind you that it is responsibility of the guest to read the relevant booking information, especially regarding the pick up time. You can find this information online on the activity, on your voucher confirmation and also on the means of contact that you provided us with. Thanks for your understanding

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Scenic tour by Train, Tram and Boat through the lakes: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mallorca.
How much does Scenic tour by Train, Tram and Boat through the lakes cost?
+
Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mallorca usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Scenic tour by Train, Tram and Boat through the lakes take?
+
Plan for about 8.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mallorca is not rushed.
Is Scenic tour by Train, Tram and Boat through the lakes worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.8/5 across 65 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mallorca, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Scenic tour by Train, Tram and Boat through the lakes?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Scenic tour by Train, Tram and Boat through the lakes suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Scenic tour by Train, Tram and Boat through the lakes?
+
Around 23 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mallorca can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mallorca and add a light layer if any part of the 8.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Scenic tour by Train, Tram and Boat through the lakes start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mallorca within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Mallorca?
+
On Outty we rank every Mallorca experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mallorca Full Day Tour Valldemossa Deià and Sóller Experience, Best Mallorca Coves: Paddle Surf, Snorkeling and Guide, 3 Hours E-Bike Tour in Palma. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Mallorca?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Mallorca?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
