Bad company
Worst experience of our trip, they didn’t provide name of the boat, which made it super hard to find, we had to make 3 phone calls to find answers. When we finally get the information, and we are standing at the time of meeting 2 people from the port said it was cancelled, no explanation, no options, nothing. DONT BOOK IT. It was a big group with us left hanging and now looking for something to do. VERY DISAPPOINTING. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME

Trip quality
Not as advertised as a 5~7 tour. It took 2 hrs on the way to Amalfi. Once there, we were kicked out of the ship and forced to stay there for more than 2 hrs waiting for the ship to return to Salerno. It took 1 hr back to Salerno, so It’s like taking a round trip ferry rides for a total of 3 hrs. It’s overcrowded, overpriced, and the quality was very poor. It’s definitely not worth it.

Cancelled
We got a tiny little email message hidden behind the many “today is the day” emails that our booking is cancelled. So we were at the meeting point - no one was there and a lot of time was wasted. Very disappointing, never again

A lovely day out
Friendly welcome. Well maintained boat, light snacks and a well stocked bar. Sometimes couldn't hear the commentary and perhaps a little overpriced for what it was.

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Salerno?

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
