    Catamaran Experience

Mr. Tirson made sure our pick up was smooth and fun! Playing music and just engaging with everyone in our group. Mr. Piña was a great tour guide. Helpful and fun. Made sure that everyone was taken care of on our catamaran. Had a great attitude. We got stuck a couple of times and were a little disappointed in the snack options but everything else was great. The rest of the crew were nice and attentive as well.

    OUTSTANDING!!!

If you’re looking for the ultimate nature adventure in Punta Cana, Scape Park is simply the best. From the moment you arrive, you can feel that this is not just another excursion. it’s a full experience. What truly sets Scape Park apart is that it’s the only park in Punta Cana with two real, natural cenotes. The Blue Hole is absolutely breathtaking — crystal-clear turquoise water surrounded by lush greenery — and the cave swim is just as magical. Don’t be fooled by “cenotes” or “rivers” in other parks around Bávaro that are man-made or artificial. Here, everything feels authentic, untouched, and natural. Another thing we loved is the exclusive free-flow concept. You’re not rushed from one activity to another. You can enjoy more than 15 attractions at your own pace, repeat your favorites as many times as you want, and there are no surprise extra costs. It feels premium, organized, and stress-free. The highlight of our tour was definitely the Superman Zipline flying headfirst over the jungle is an adrenaline rush like no other — and of course the stunning Blue Hole cenote. If you want adventure, nature, freedom, and real Dominican beauty all in one place, Scape Park is hands down the top choice in Punta Cana. Highly recommended!

Dreams Cap Cana is a "Dream", we loved it!

We stayed a week - 9/15 to 9/19. This was Hurricane season (we checked weather report before we arrived-no hurricanes predicated). But it rained for 20 minutes, off and on, and there was thunder and lightning, and it was warm rain, so we didn't mind. And it was still a very beautiful place. The rooms were cheaper due to hurricane season and the beaches were filled with seaweed due to hurricane season, but we didn't mind at all. The staff were AMAZING! Everyone so friendly and ready to help. Our personal concierge- Udomar, was charming and on top of everything we needed. The restaurants were all great with delicious food. Our favorites were Candela (caribbean/dominican food) and Touro (steak house). We also treated ourselves to massage and hyrdo therapy at the luxurious spa. Also amazing! There was great music each night, and always something to do. The only thin we didn't like was being the uexpected sales pitch to get free breakfasts and gift certficates in exchange for listening to vacation packages at their sister resort- Secrets. We accepted and it took up most of our 2nd day. Would say no to that the next time. They need to be more honest about this, because we felt they were a little deceptive. And no one wants to go on vacation and have someone try to sell you something. Other than that, everything was amazing and I give 4.5 stars. If it wasn't for the sales pitch, I would hhave given 5 stars. We will definitely come back!

Just OK - Not Worth It

The catamaran cruise was alright - just ok. Nothing special at all. The boat was really used and old. Matter of fact only one of the engines was working. The staff were very nice and friendly. The staff was professional, safety focused but was only working with what they had to work with. The beer keg was NOT on ice at all, so you got warm foamy beer. The mixed drinks are from cheap, bottom self liquors. The sea weed during our trip was horrible and the smell was sickening - terrible (August 2025).

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We’re glad to hear our crew made you feel safe and welcome, though we’re truly sorry the cruise didn’t meet your expectations. We take your feedback seriously regarding the condition of the boat, the beverages, and overall experience. Your comments will be reviewed with our operations team so we can improve. We also understand the inconvenience caused by seaweed, unfortunately, it’s a natural occurrence that can be unpredictable, especially during the summer months. We appreciate your honesty and hope we’ll have the chance to provide you with a much better experience in the future.

Total Scam! Cannot be trusted- beware total scam

If anything, communication was the main issue. Especially with The Royalton Excursions. Either that or that particular staff member (Julio) was in on the scam with Scape. What he told us when we booked our excursion and what was expected when we arrived at the marina was not the same thing. Unfortunately, once we arrived, Scape Park wanted $900 in addition to the $900 we had already paid for a 4 hour private catamaran experience for our family. We refused to pay the additional amount after traveling 40 Minutes to get there. They left us stranded at the marina with no way to get back to our resort for hours with 25 members of our party. Small children and 2 elderly parents, in the heat & sun at the marina. And, we totally missed out on our catamaran excursion. And, lost most of the hours of our day, waiting around on concrete with no water, food or even a place to sit.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We would like to provide some important clarification regarding your experience. According to our confirmed records, your booking was made and paid for a total of 15 guests. However, upon arrival at the marina, your group attempted to board with 24 people — meaning 9 additional guests who were not included in the original reservation or payment. In an effort to assist and show goodwill, we offered you a 50% discount for the extra participants, which is far beyond what most service providers would extend in such a case. However, this offer was declined, and your group insisted on boarding without paying the difference. With respect, we must emphasize that no business can be expected to provide services to unpaid guests, and for this reason, your suggestion that this was a "scam" is both inaccurate and unfair. If anything, we were the ones placed in a difficult situation by an attempt to receive services for more guests than were actually paid for. Additionally, we would like to clarify that your purchase was made through a third-party tour operator (Nexus Tours). If there was any misunderstanding at the time of booking, it should be addressed directly with them, as we do not control or oversee the details they communicate to their clients. At Scape Park, we pride ourselves on honest, professional service and deeply value all of our guests. We hope this clears up the misunderstanding, and we remain available to support you in contacting your tour provider should you need further assistance. Sincerely, Customer Care Team Scape Park

Scape Park Sunshine Cruise at Cap Cana: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Punta Cana.

How much does Scape Park Sunshine Cruise at Cap Cana cost?

    +

Prices start at $45 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Punta Cana usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Scape Park Sunshine Cruise at Cap Cana take?

    +

Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Punta Cana is not rushed.

Is Scape Park Sunshine Cruise at Cap Cana worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 47 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.7/5 across 26 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Punta Cana, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Scape Park Sunshine Cruise at Cap Cana?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Scape Park Sunshine Cruise at Cap Cana suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Scape Park Sunshine Cruise at Cap Cana?

    +

Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Punta Cana can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Punta Cana and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Scape Park Sunshine Cruise at Cap Cana start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Punta Cana within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Punta Cana?

    +

On Outty we rank every Punta Cana experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Punta Cana Zipline - 8 lines and a suspenseful hanging bridge, Punta Cana Buggy or ATV Tour with Macao Beach, Cave and Tastings, Off Road Buggy Adventure. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Punta Cana?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Punta Cana?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
