Delayed schedule
My friend and I made it to Sarangkot for the beautiful sunrise. It’s definitely worth a visit. However it wasn’t without some challenges that morning. The tour guide and driver were at least 10 minutes late and the car broke down multiple times on the way to Sarangkot including when we were on our way up the mountain. The car died halfway, and they were able to call one of their other driver friends to pick us up 20 minutes later to take us all the way up. The guide didn’t offer much background or history either. I would recommend just paying someone to take you up there for half the cost if you don’t need a curator.
Response from the operator: Dear Lauren, We don't have any Sarangkot sunrise trip since couple of weeks. Please make sure you reviewed to the actual service provider. Anyway we are extremely sorry to hear the negative experience. Had you booked this trip with Liberty Holidays, there would have no problem at all. Regards, Liberty Holidays

Brilliant tour.
Today we experienced a sunrise tour with Liberty agent Pokhara. We were collected from our hotel at 5am by two young men and escorted to Sarangot to watch the sunrise over the Annapurna range and Fish Tail mountain. Our driver was incredible on some very difficult roads and the guide treated us with respect throughout. We cannot speak highly enough about the service and guidance throughout. Thank you Liberty's.
Response from the operator: Truly, it is our pleasure. Thank you so much for choosing us and giving us the opportunity to serve you. We look forward serving you with our best hospitality in future too.

Beautiful view
A great view of the Himalayas 😊 very rewarding getting up early. Many people but you can still see well from the sealing point.
Response from the operator: Ein Ort, den Sie sich nicht entgehen lassen sollten, wenn Sie jemals Pokhara besuchen.

One of the best Sunrise and Sunset , you will ever see
Sarankot is very important to Pokhara from tourist viewpoint as Nagarkot is to Kathmandu. Positioned west north to Pokhara, Sarankot is one of the major tourist destination of the district. Nowadays, it has been famous for paragliding as well.
Response from the operator: A place not miss for glorious mountain view, if you ever visit Pokhara .

Why this scores 58
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Sarangkot Sunrise Tour from Pokhara: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Pokhara.
How much does Sarangkot Sunrise Tour from Pokhara cost?
+
Prices start at $40 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Pokhara usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sarangkot Sunrise Tour from Pokhara take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Pokhara is not rushed.
Is Sarangkot Sunrise Tour from Pokhara worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Pokhara, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sarangkot Sunrise Tour from Pokhara?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sarangkot Sunrise Tour from Pokhara suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Sarangkot Sunrise Tour from Pokhara?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Pokhara can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Pokhara and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sarangkot Sunrise Tour from Pokhara start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Pokhara within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Pokhara?
+
On Outty we rank every Pokhara experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ghorepani - Poon Hill Trek 3N-4D, Annapurna Base Camp Trek -8 days, Annapurna Base Camp Treks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Pokhara?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Pokhara?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
