The only way to experience Bosnia Herzegovina and/or Croatia!

First, if you are traveling to Bosnia Herzegovina and/or Croatia, I cannot recommend Funky Tours enough. From the very first inquiry of transportation from Dubrovnik to Sarajevo through our drop off at Sarajevo airport, each interaction for planning and with the guides was personal, enriching, and detailed. Every person takes pride in providing the best experience for their clients. We added on a few days in Dubrovnik from Rome, and I have wanted to visit Bosnia Herzegovina for decades to experience the culture, the history, and the incredible countryside. This transfer is better than you will imagine, and the personal touches along the way are unmatchable. Our travel day was my girlfriend’s birthday, and Amela went above any expectations to help secure a hotel room, a reservation at a beautiful restaurant that overlooked the city, and arranged a personalized present representing Sarajevo at our dinner. We learned so much, had incredible conversations, and felt that everything was handled from beginning to end. Lastly, we only had a day in Sarajevo, so Funky Tours combined the siege and WWI tours with what we wanted to focus on. We had our luggage secured, guided discussions about both topics, and visited the real sites. We wanted more time and will be back to partner with Funky Tours again, but we had the trip of a lifetime and can’t thank them enough. Use Funky Tours if you’re planning a trip here. They are helpful, knowledgeable, and just great people.

Great day with Tarik!

We had a fantastic day travelling through Bosnia & Herzegovina to transfer to Dubrovnik. Our guide Tarik was so friendly and had excellent knowledge of all the places we saw - which was a lot of places! We were lucky that it was only our group of 4 so it was a private tour in a comfy air conditioned mini van. The lunch recommendation was delicious. We would highly recommend this way to transfer to Dubrovnik!!

This was a fabulous...

This was a fabulous transfer / tour from Sarajevo to Dubrovnik. We had a driver and guide Vedad .. both of whom were great. I felt totally safe with our driver who was careful and considered, while Vedad showed care and great knowledge of all the sights we visited. Would highly recommend this as not only a good value way to do your transfer but a really engaging way to see and understand more of BH.

Beyond expectations tour through Bosnia and Herzegovina!

We were new to Bosnia, we’re only able to be in town a few short days before heading to Dubrovnik, traveling as a family of four and wanted a chance to see more of the country rather than just fly over it. The idea of renting a car and driving was considered but the one way fare was so high we thought we’d look into a private transfer and Funky Tours popped up as a top option so we thought we’d give it a go. We are so glad we did. What we got was a 12 hour private tour of some of the most beautiful and diverse landscape and cities steeped in rich and complex and moving stories led by a man who shared his personal history along with the text book history of the region we were passing through. The van we were picked up in was a black Mercedes van with plenty of room for our family and our luggage and it had air conditioning which was useful on a hot day of travel. We never drove more than an hour and some change without a stop and every stop was meaningful. The driver and our guide (who happened to have worked in the UN and war crimes tribunal) took excellent care of us and made sure we had plenty of time to not only learn about a spot but actually spend time building some personal memories there as well. Strongly recommend Funky Tours and will be looking to leverage them again!

Sarajevo to/from Dubrovnik Transfer Tour via Mostar & Herzegovina: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sarajevo.

How much does Sarajevo to/from Dubrovnik Transfer Tour via Mostar & Herzegovina cost?

+

Prices start at $110 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sarajevo usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Sarajevo to/from Dubrovnik Transfer Tour via Mostar & Herzegovina take?

+

Plan for about 11 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sarajevo is not rushed.

Is Sarajevo to/from Dubrovnik Transfer Tour via Mostar & Herzegovina worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 127 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sarajevo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Sarajevo to/from Dubrovnik Transfer Tour via Mostar & Herzegovina?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Sarajevo to/from Dubrovnik Transfer Tour via Mostar & Herzegovina suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 11-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Sarajevo to/from Dubrovnik Transfer Tour via Mostar & Herzegovina?

+

Around 44 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sarajevo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sarajevo and add a light layer if any part of the 11-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Sarajevo to/from Dubrovnik Transfer Tour via Mostar & Herzegovina start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sarajevo within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Sarajevo?

+

On Outty we rank every Sarajevo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Fall of Yugoslavia, Sarajevo War Tour with Tunnel of Hope Museum and Frontlines, ROSES OF SARAJEVO (Official War + City tour) -Story of a Survivor, Sarajevo: Mostar, Blagaj, Pocitelj, Waterfall, Konjic with fees. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Sarajevo?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Sarajevo?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
