An Amazing First Paragliding Experience! 🪂✨
I had a wonderful experience with Fly Sapa! This was my first time trying paragliding, and everything was well organized and went smoothly. The team was very friendly, professional, and responsive on WhatsApp, and all the information was clear. I felt safe and comfortable throughout the flight. The only minor downside was that card payment was not available, and communication in English was sometimes a little difficult, but we used a translation app and everything worked out well. Overall, I highly recommend Fly Sapa and would definitely choose them again! 🪂✨

Best activity in Sapa
Me and my boyfriend did this activity together. We booked directly via WhatsApp and the communication was great. They messaged us when our taxi was at our hotel to pick us up and they were very clear. What I really liked is the fact you can pay right before the paragliding because then you are sure that the weather is okay and you can definitely go. The paragliding itself was so much fun. Our instructors were Mickey and Vu. They were very helpful, kind, and funny. They made sure everything was checked and made me feel very safe. The experience includes go pro pictures which were so cool. We also decided to pay a little extra for drone footage since this also looked so good. The pictures and videos were easy to download and we also received a certificate. Afterwards they drop you back off where you want to go. I can say that this was one of our best experiences in Vietnam. Would definitely recommend this to everyone!!!
Response from the operator: Dear LivNys, Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful review. Reading your words truly made our whole team smile. We're so happy that you and your boyfriend chose to fly with us and that everything from the WhatsApp communication and hotel pickup to the flight itself made you feel comfortable and well taken care of. Safety has always been our highest priority, so it means a lot to hear that Mickey and Vu helped you feel confident and safe while also making the experience fun. We're also delighted that you enjoyed the GoPro photos, drone footage, and all the little details like the certificate and drop-off service. We believe these memories should last a lifetime, and we're honored to have been part of one of your best experiences in Vietnam. Thank you again for your kind recommendation. We hope your adventures bring you back to Vietnam one day, and when they do, we'd love to welcome you for another flight above the mountains. Wishing you both safe travels and unforgettable adventures ahead! 🪂💙 The Fly Sapa Team

Some friends and I decided to dish out some cash and try paragliding in Sapa. Unfortunately, I really didn't enjoy this experience, for several reasons. (1) Starting with pick up, they were about an hour late coming to our hotel. I don't mind if there are unavoidable issues that prevent a pick up, but we should have been informed more than 15 minutes in advance that they would be late. (2) Second, when we arrived they demanded that we pay cash, despite the fact that when my friend payed the deposit online she was told that the remaining expense would be withdrawn from her credit card on the flight day. We just barely had enough cash between all of us! And then, the guy asking for our money didn't have change to break our bill and it looked like he would have just taken the difference if we didn't strongly insist, whereupon he went and got money from our driver. (3) Most importantly we had trouble enjoying the flying. They really wanted us to use their selfie sticks during flight (presumably to get marketing material which they would use without our consent). After refusing firmly twice, my pilot put away the selfie stick, but then pulled it out mid-flight without warning me and recorded me! My girlfriend said her guide forced her to use a selfie stick even when she refused. And my friend said her guide put her into a strong spin without warning/asking in order to get a reaction after she said she wasn't scared (she's a climber, and heights don't frighten her). This failed to frighten her, but it did make her nauseous for the next several hours. Overall, not a recommended experience unless you just want cool selfies to send to friends and family.
Response from the operator: Dear Steve, First of all, we're truly sorry to hear about the experience you had. We would like to respectfully clarify that there are two commercial paragliding sites in Sapa. Fly Sapa operates from the higher take-off site in Sapa, and based on the details in your review, we believe there may have been a mix-up between the two operators. The procedures you described are not how Fly Sapa operates: -We do not require deposits. All payments are made at our office before the flight. -Our GoPro service is complimentary, and we always ask for guests' consent during the safety briefing before any photos or videos are taken. -Any flight maneuvers are performed only after the guest has given clear consent before takeoff. -Our CS team coordinates every pickup, and guests are always informed in advance of any unexpected delays. At Fly Sapa, we are committed to professionalism, clear communication, and respecting every guest's privacy and consent. We're sincerely sorry for the experience you had, and if you're ever back in Vietnam, we'd love the opportunity to welcome you to Fly Sapa or our locations in Hanoi or Da Lat and show you the experience we're proud to deliver.

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Sapa Highest Paragliding Adventure with Pickup & Drop-off: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sapa.
How much does Sapa Highest Paragliding Adventure with Pickup & Drop-off cost?
+
Prices start at $100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sapa usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sapa Highest Paragliding Adventure with Pickup & Drop-off take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sapa is not rushed.
Is Sapa Highest Paragliding Adventure with Pickup & Drop-off worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 24 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sapa, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sapa Highest Paragliding Adventure with Pickup & Drop-off?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sapa Highest Paragliding Adventure with Pickup & Drop-off suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Sapa Highest Paragliding Adventure with Pickup & Drop-off?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sapa can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sapa and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sapa Highest Paragliding Adventure with Pickup & Drop-off start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sapa within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sapa?
+
On Outty we rank every Sapa experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sapa 2 Days 1 Night From Hanoi - Overnight in Ta Van Village, Glass Bridge, Cat Cat Village, Moana, Alpine Coaster Sapa Tour, Sapa 1 day trek with local guide to the village by Comlam. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sapa?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sapa?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
