A highly recommended experience in Santorini

It was a wonderful tour with Yiannis he was informative and set up a great day for my family. He left us cater it to history of the island, sightseeing, wine tasting and a fabulous lunch.

    A worthwhile investment

The Santorini Island tour was a great way to see the island from the comfort of an air conditioned vehicle with an expert guide. Yannis was very knowledgeable and he tailored the tour to our interests. The lunch was delicious and we all enjoyed the experience

This is Best Private Tour We've Ever Had

We're from the US. Before we picked this tour, Julie Anne (very nice and accommodating) from Viator was kind enough to check directly with the tour company that our driver would be a non-smoker, as the tours we found on local tour sites specifically said smoking was allowed -- yuck! Yiannis (the owner of this small company) picked us up at our resort in his classy and clean BMW and immediately made us feel welcomed like old friends, telling us the day was ours to customize how we wished. We stuck mostly to the planned itinerary as we had never been to Santorini, but we added a winery stop (he is actually a Level 2 Certified Sommelier and does wine tours and is AMAZING) -- he took us the BEST winery on the island, owned by the most legendary winemaker on the island, sitting directly on the ocean with wines as breathtaking as the sweeping ocean views! He gave us an insider's tour of the winemaking process here and at the later winery. He taught us about each wine and each grape. His detailed knowledge of the island (he and his family live here) and the beaches and the towns was incredible, and he was also able to answer all of our questions. The meal and wine tasting at the end, like all other parts of this tour, was exquisite -- all carefully arranged and totally customized by Yiannis (through his friends who own the restaurant) to our allergies and to our unique likes and dislikes. This was by far the best tour my wife and I have ever been on, anywhere, and we hope to visit Santorini again and will of course request Yiannis as our host! This is a small and growing company (Yiannis worked many years for a different tour company before starting his own) and you will not go wrong booking any tour with Wineland Santorini!

It was a complete experience with an awesome professional (Giannis) who from the first moment in the car made me feel comfortable and give all my attention to what he was saying

    A treat for your senses.

A perfect blend of scenic beauty, gastronomic pleasure, and cultural immersion. The highlight of the tour was undoubtedly the lunch at the winery. The setting was amazing, surrounded by vineyards.

Santorini Private Island Tour & Winery Lunch at Domaine Sigalas: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santorini.

How much does Santorini Private Island Tour & Winery Lunch at Domaine Sigalas cost?

    +

Prices start at $319 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santorini usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Santorini Private Island Tour & Winery Lunch at Domaine Sigalas take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santorini is not rushed.

Is Santorini Private Island Tour & Winery Lunch at Domaine Sigalas worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santorini, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Santorini Private Island Tour & Winery Lunch at Domaine Sigalas?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Santorini Private Island Tour & Winery Lunch at Domaine Sigalas suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Santorini Private Island Tour & Winery Lunch at Domaine Sigalas?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santorini can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santorini and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Santorini Private Island Tour & Winery Lunch at Domaine Sigalas start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santorini within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Santorini?

    +

On Outty we rank every Santorini experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half Day Premium Catamaran Cruise in Santorini including Oia, Private Santorini Tailor Made - Choice of the Guest!, Private Classic Santorini Panorama: Visit Top Destinations. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Santorini?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Santorini?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
