Fantastic Tour
Tasos was fantastic! very nice when he picked us up, very knowledgeable through the tour and helpful to decide what all we wanted to see. This young man could not have been better. It is wonderful to be able to talk and get the perspective of the local people This is how you should see Santorini. Not on a bus of 40 people and a guide that is reading a script. This was so much more personal.

Great tour. And great guide
Tasos was graet!! He changed up the tour to do the things we most wanted to do but really took his suggestions. He grew up in Santorini and loves his island. He made it special and really explained things to us in a way that would have been lacking ona big tour. we feel like we did and saw the best of the island. He is very nice and easy to spend the day with. If you can book him, I promise you will be happy you did.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind words Mr. Michael, hope you enjoy the rest of your cruise! Anytime you decide to revisit us, just know you have a person here. Tasos.

Luxury taxi ride but you’re own your own one you get there
You may as well take a taxi. Driver was knowledgeable and car was quite comfortable. Drive explained some history while enroute to our destination. I was a little disappointed that when arrived at the top Santorini with the maze off shops he sent us off on our own and told us he would pick us up in a couple where he dropped us off We got lost so he sent us a pin for google maps. I expected a guided tour not a luxury shuttle service He did same thing a the black sand beach. Then announce we were out of time be cause trying to find our way back to the car I don’t feel the services. were worth the price
Response from the operator: Hello Mr. Daniel, Thank you for joining my tour and for sharing your feedback. While I understand you have extensive travel experience, I’d like to clarify that my tours are not simple taxi rides — they are curated experiences led by a local passionate about sharing the island’s rich history and hidden gems. During our stop in Oia, the plan was to spend around 45 minutes, but unfortunately, you got lost and the visit extended to two hours. Additionally, I gifted you an extra hour to accommodate your late arrival and to fit in the small stop at the black sandy beach (which there is no tour to perform either since its just a beach). I suggested extending the tour slightly to include the Monastery and the cave houses — both unique highlights — but I understand your priority was to return to your cruise ship on time. That said, I truly enjoyed our conversation and your company throughout the day. I hope you'll return to Santorini one day, and perhaps we can explore even more of its beauty together. Warm regards, Tasos

Santorini Group Tour
We had a wonderful tour experience with Tasos. He shared many historical facts about Santorini. It rained and he went out his way to ensure we had a enjoyable experience since most of the wineries were closed or booked due to the rain I most enjoyed the house caves and lunch at Perivolos and the black sand beach. The most inspiring story for me was about his grandfather who cut hair and shared fables that most people believed, Lol! Thank you Tasos for a great experience!
Response from the operator: Hey Terry! I had a wonderful time with you and your family! You guys are special and made my day! Whenever you return to Santorini message me so we can also visit the Old barbershop of his. Cheers!

Why this scores 71
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Santorini Private Local Tour: Oia, Prophet Elias & Black Beach: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santorini.
How much does Santorini Private Local Tour: Oia, Prophet Elias & Black Beach cost?
+
Prices start at $29 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santorini usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Santorini Private Local Tour: Oia, Prophet Elias & Black Beach take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santorini is not rushed.
Is Santorini Private Local Tour: Oia, Prophet Elias & Black Beach worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santorini, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Santorini Private Local Tour: Oia, Prophet Elias & Black Beach?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Santorini Private Local Tour: Oia, Prophet Elias & Black Beach suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Santorini Private Local Tour: Oia, Prophet Elias & Black Beach?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santorini can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santorini and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Santorini Private Local Tour: Oia, Prophet Elias & Black Beach start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santorini within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Santorini?
+
On Outty we rank every Santorini experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half Day Premium Catamaran Cruise in Santorini including Oia, Private Santorini Tailor Made - Choice of the Guest!, Private Classic Santorini Panorama: Visit Top Destinations. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Santorini?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Santorini?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
