Wonderful Authentic Santorini Experience
My wife and I did this tour as a part of our honeymoon. It was wonderful from start to finish. Fon, our guide, was very kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. We were picked up near our hotel, went to a winery to taste olive oils with a full experience in our own private room, and then continued on to Akrotiri. There we got a small tour of a local vineyard and had an authentic meal cooked and served by the vineyard owner. Everything was delicious and fantastic. Would highly recommend this tour for an authentic Greek experience!
Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you for this — and congratulations on your honeymoon. The Farm to Table tour is designed exactly around what you described: private, unhurried, and rooted in the real Santorini rather than the tourist version of it. We're glad Fon guided you through it the right way. Hope to welcome you both back. Best regards, Santorini Island Tour Team

Amazing experience seeing almost all of Santorini for oil and food
This was an amazing experience for our honeymoon. Enofon was so nice and educated us along way on our journey. The olive oil was delightful and the farm to table experience was delicious and felt like we were at home. If we are ever back in Santorini we will be doing this, again! Thank you, Fon!
Response from the operator: Dear Gia, Thank you for this — and congratulations on your honeymoon. That "felt like home" feeling is exactly what the Farm to Table experience is built around: real ingredients, real people, no performance. We're glad Fon made the journey as enjoyable as the destination. Hope to welcome you both back to Santorini. Best regards, Santorini Island Tour Team

Amazing tour!
Wonderful tour! Xenofon was an extremely knowledgeable and interesting guide. He was a pleasure to spend time with. Maria at Santo Estates was super as well! She taught us a lot of olive oil and the oils and snacks were delicious! Then we went to Marias house. We learned how her family made their own wine, saw her vineyards and the basement that her family has been making wine in for generations. We then were treated to the most amazing and delicious meal prepared by her Aunt Barbara. We had tomato fritters which were unbelievably delicious, capers, olives, cheese, fava bean spread and tomatoes all from farm to table. So fresh tasting and so flavorful. Don’t sleep on this tour! Make sure you ask for Xenofon! You won’t regret it!
Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you for this — and for describing the experience in such detail. Xenofon will be glad to read it. The Farm to Table tour is built around exactly what you described: genuine people, real ingredients, and stories that have been passed down for generations. That authenticity is what makes it unlike anything else on the island. We hope to welcome you back to Santorini. Best regards, Santorini Island Tour Team

Fun private tour
My wife and I had a great time with Fon and Ares. This was a private tour with just the 4 of us. They took us to the highest point on the caldera for the olive oil Tasman’s learned a lot about how olive oil is supposed to taste. Then we went to a small farm and restaurant where the local family (the son) cooked for us. It was a delicious, traditional Santorinian meal and we ate it up. Fon was born on Santorini so he was a wealth of knowledge and answered all of our questions about the island. Great time!
Response from the operator: Dear Ryan, Thank you for your wonderful review. We’re very happy to hear you enjoyed the experience, especially the combination of olive oil tasting, the farm visit, and the authentic meal. Offering a more personal and local perspective of Santorini is exactly what we aim for. We’ll be sure to pass on your kind words to Fon and Ares. Best regards, Santorini Island Tour Team

Santorini Olive Oil Tasting and Farm to Table Private Experience: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santorini.
How much does Santorini Olive Oil Tasting and Farm to Table Private Experience cost?
+
Prices start at $160 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santorini usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Santorini Olive Oil Tasting and Farm to Table Private Experience take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santorini is not rushed.
Is Santorini Olive Oil Tasting and Farm to Table Private Experience worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santorini, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Santorini Olive Oil Tasting and Farm to Table Private Experience?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Santorini Olive Oil Tasting and Farm to Table Private Experience suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Santorini Olive Oil Tasting and Farm to Table Private Experience?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santorini can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santorini and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Santorini Olive Oil Tasting and Farm to Table Private Experience start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santorini within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Santorini?
+
On Outty we rank every Santorini experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half Day Premium Catamaran Cruise in Santorini including Oia, Private Santorini Tailor Made - Choice of the Guest!, Private Classic Santorini Panorama: Visit Top Destinations. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Santorini?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Santorini?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
