Nice cruise. Allow to walk on volcano
Very good experience. Nicely organization. Abit too short for sunset. Had to run back to the bus.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind feedback! We’re glad you had a very good experience and enjoyed the tour. We understand that you would have liked more time to enjoy the sunset. As this is a group tour, we do need to keep to the scheduled departure time so that all guests can return safely and on time. We appreciate your understanding and hope to welcome you again for another beautiful Santorini experience!

Both Tours were Excellent
Very professional company. We went on 2 trips. 1 boat & 1 bus. We enjoyed them both. Excellent value for money with very informative guides.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed both the boat and bus trips and found them informative and good value for money. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you again soon!

Not enough information provided by this tour operator
The overall day on the boat and related activities needs to be revised for how much time and the information provided prior to the tour and at the beginning of the tour. Too little time spent swimming and too much time spent at the port. Also no real useful information provided about food and drink provision by the tour operators. Not sure if it really worth the money spent but it was good to get to se other Greek islands.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We’re pleased you enjoyed the opportunity to see more of Thira. We would like to clarify that the full itinerary, including the swimming time, time at Thirassia, and all scheduled activities, is clearly outlined prior to booking. The schedule is designed to allow guests to experience several locations during the day, so the timings cannot be significantly changed. Information regarding food and drinks available for purchase on board is also provided in the tour details. We appreciate your suggestion that this could be communicated more clearly at the start of the tour. We understand that you would have preferred more swimming time, but the tour combines swimming, sightseeing, and island exploration rather than focusing solely on swimming. Thank you again for sharing your perspective.

Ok day but time at different island and activities needs to be revised.
Not enough information provided by promoters about trip on website or by tour organisers. We were not informed of any possible food arrangements other than there are sandwiches and drinks available for sale on the boat. The tour guide on the boat does not inform you of any food options until you are getting near the port of Ormos Korfou. Too little time spent swimming of which you only get 30 minutes to swim in volcanic warm waters. No noodles provided to aid people who may want it, after a short swim time you are taken to the old port of Ormos Korfou, where you can get lunch and then spend 2 hrs walking around the small area that has very little shade and nothing to do other than eat and spend money in a couple of souvenir shops or swim in the port which is not very inviting. You can try doing the almost 300 step straight uphill to the town if you like but again very physically demanding especially in hot weather. You are not allowed back on the boat during this time. The volcano walk is physically demanding and it’s a hot walk on uneven ground. If you take the option to go to Oia for the sunset you are bused there and once the guide gives you basic information you are on your own for a minimum of 3 hours before the sun sets and you then have to get back to the bus by 9 pm for the trip back for drop off to your original pick up point. It is good to get out and see some of the other Greek islands but don’t really think it is worth the money.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the tour did not meet your expectations. We would like to clarify that the full itinerary is clearly stated in the tour description, including the scheduled stops, activities, duration, and the Oia sunset option. The information regarding what is available for purchase on board, including sandwiches and drinks, is also provided in advance. Regarding Thirassia, the facilities and options available on the island are part of the destination itself and are not services operated or controlled by us. The time allocated there is included in the published itinerary and is intended to give guests the opportunity to explore the area, have lunch, visit the local surroundings, or enjoy some free time. Unfortunately, the facilities, shade, shops, and activities available on the island cannot be changed or controlled by the tour operator. The volcanic walk and swimming stop are also part of the published itinerary, and the tour is structured to allow guests to experience several different locations within one day. As with any visit to a volcanic island, the terrain can be uneven and the weather can be very warm, so guests should take their own comfort and physical ability into consideration. For the Oia sunset option, guests are given free time to explore Oia before the designated meeting time for the return journey. As this is a group tour, the bus must depart at the scheduled time so that all guests can be returned according to the planned itinerary. We appreciate that different travelers have different expectations, but we do want to emphasize that the itinerary and inclusions are communicated clearly before booking. We’re sorry that this particular style of full-day island tour was not what you were looking for, but we hope you were still able to enjoy seeing some of the beautiful and unique places Santorini has to offer.

Why this scores 55
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Santorini Caldera Morning Cruise With King Thiras Boat: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santorini.
How much does Santorini Caldera Morning Cruise With King Thiras Boat cost?
+
Prices start at $60 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santorini usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Santorini Caldera Morning Cruise With King Thiras Boat take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santorini is not rushed.
Is Santorini Caldera Morning Cruise With King Thiras Boat worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 55 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santorini, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Santorini Caldera Morning Cruise With King Thiras Boat?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Santorini Caldera Morning Cruise With King Thiras Boat suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Santorini Caldera Morning Cruise With King Thiras Boat?
+
Around 19 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santorini can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santorini and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Santorini Caldera Morning Cruise With King Thiras Boat start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santorini within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Santorini?
+
On Outty we rank every Santorini experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half Day Premium Catamaran Cruise in Santorini including Oia, Private Santorini Tailor Made - Choice of the Guest!, Private Classic Santorini Panorama: Visit Top Destinations. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Santorini?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Santorini?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
