Great day at sea
We had an amazing day. Manos was a great guide and made us a very good lunch. Great selection of food, Captain ilias was an amazing sailor and felt very safe, was a very sweet guy, would 100% recommend this trip.

Experience way above expectations!
Great experience with Captain Giorgos ans sailors Nail and Moussa. Food was excellent, the boat was spacious and super clean and the explanations of each site was above expectations. I have some food allergies ans the crew ensure not only to not serve those items but that none of them were aboard. They took great importance in our security while allowing maximum freedom and experience on boat and in the water (swimming). Special kudos to Nail: EXCELLENT, FUNNY and PERSONABLE guide. Cheers!

Fantastic day trip
Brilliant all round. The meeting point was easy to find with a google maps link sent beforehand. Captain Ilias and Manos were welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. The boat with a maximum of 10 was very relaxing with snorkels provided. Lunch was delicious. It was a highlight of our trip, highly recommend.

Highly recommend
We had a very nice boattrip with great service from captain Ilias and the other crew members Dusan and Vasalis. Everything was perfectly organised.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We are delighted to hear that you had such a nice boat trip and enjoyed the service on board. It was a true pleasure having you with us, and we hope to welcome you back again soon!

Great day out on the boat
Had an amazing trip on the Bella Vita boat. The crew were lovely and the food served was very good. Especially Billy, great guide giving us plenty of fun facts about the places we visited along the trip. Whole trip lasted 5 hours, which we found was the perfect length of time. Got to swim in volcanic hot springs and snorkel at a beach with fish in the water. One of the highlights of our trip to Santorini. All the guests on the boat were couples and everyone kept to themselves. Which worked for us but if someone’s looking for a more lively atmosphere that may not work for them. Also, white wine was the only alcohol available on board, we don’t drink white wine so we unfortunately couldn’t have any alcohol but had plenty of soft drink options.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're so pleased you enjoyed your day aboard Bella Vita and that Billy's insights, the swimming stops, and the freshly prepared meal made it one of the highlights of your time in Santorini. We also appreciate your comments about the drinks selection—they're valuable to us as we continue to refine the experience we offer. Thank you again for your thoughtful feedback.

Why this scores 78
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Santorini Caldera Day Traditional Cruise with Meal and Drinks: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santorini.
How much does Santorini Caldera Day Traditional Cruise with Meal and Drinks cost?
+
Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santorini usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Santorini Caldera Day Traditional Cruise with Meal and Drinks take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santorini is not rushed.
Is Santorini Caldera Day Traditional Cruise with Meal and Drinks worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 142 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Santorini, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Santorini Caldera Day Traditional Cruise with Meal and Drinks?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Santorini Caldera Day Traditional Cruise with Meal and Drinks suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Santorini Caldera Day Traditional Cruise with Meal and Drinks?
+
Around 50 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santorini can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santorini and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Santorini Caldera Day Traditional Cruise with Meal and Drinks start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santorini within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Santorini?
+
On Outty we rank every Santorini experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half Day Premium Catamaran Cruise in Santorini including Oia, Private Santorini Tailor Made - Choice of the Guest!, Private Classic Santorini Panorama: Visit Top Destinations. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Santorini?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Santorini?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
