    Very poor

The tour operator was overwhelmed by the amount of people that booked the tour. A lot of people got refunded.

Response from the operator: We are truly sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with our service on New Year's Eve. We understand your frustration with the delays and overcrowding, and we sincerely apologize that this impacted your celebration. Due to New Year's Day, the already crowded Full Moon Party became even more crowded. And boats from many companies dropped off customers at the same time every hour, causing the port authority to control and limit the docking, especially for the safety of all passengers. As a result, there was a delay in returning the boats from here. It was an uncontrollable event that we and other companies could not control. We all encountered the same incident that day. And we tried to handle everything as best we could. We value your feedback and are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all our customers Once again, we apologize for the disruption to your plans and appreciate your understanding. Best regards, Parallel Tour

    No Show Tour

Didn’t go because not only did they change the time, they didn’t come to pick me up and then instead of organizing any alternative transport they just issued a refund. Extremely disappointed, would tell people to avoid this at all costs.

    It was a bad experience

No one takes me from my hotel and I booked a new ticket with another agency And nothing is clear in the email I don’t now where can I go

Trip itself was okay but no organisation

My transport was 2 hours late to pick me up from my hotel and when I tried to call the company to ask where my driver was, they couldn’t give me an update. Once I eventually arrived at the pier, I had to wait approx 45 mins to get onto the boat. Nobody told me that you had to check-in before joining the queue to get your lanyard so when I got to the front of the queue I was told to go and check-in. The journeys themselves were okay and quite smooth. I was due to be picked up between 20:00 - 20:30 and didn’t get picked up until 22:15. I would definitely advise going to the full moon party earlier in the day to make the transfer there loads easier!

Response from the operator: We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences regarding the transport and wait time. Your advice about the full moon party is invaluable. 🙏 Kind regards, Thailand Tours team

Samui: Full Moon Party by Speedboat transfer: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Koh Samui.

How much does Samui: Full Moon Party by Speedboat transfer cost?

    +

Prices start at $45 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Koh Samui usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Samui: Full Moon Party by Speedboat transfer take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Koh Samui is not rushed.

Is Samui: Full Moon Party by Speedboat transfer worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 47 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (2.9/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Koh Samui, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Samui: Full Moon Party by Speedboat transfer?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Samui: Full Moon Party by Speedboat transfer suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Samui: Full Moon Party by Speedboat transfer?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Koh Samui can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Koh Samui and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Samui: Full Moon Party by Speedboat transfer start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Koh Samui within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Koh Samui?

    +

On Outty we rank every Koh Samui experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angthong National Marine Park VIP Small Group Tour, Cooking Class in Koh Samui with Micro Organic Garden, Half Day Elephant Home Sanctuary in Samui. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Koh Samui?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Koh Samui?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
