The Taj Mahal was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983 for being "the jewel of Islamic art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world's heritage". It is regarded by many as the best example of Mughal architecture and a symbol of India's rich history. The Taj Mahal attracts around 5 million visitors a year, and in 2007 it was declared a winner of the New 7 Wonders of the World initiative. The Taj Mahal complex is believed to have been completed in its entirety in 1653 at a cost estimated at the time to be around ₹32 million, which in 2023 would be approximately ₹35 billion The construction project employed some 20,000 artisans under the guidance of a board of architects led by Ustad Ahmad Lahori, the emperor's court architect. Various types of symbolism have been employed in the Taj to reflect natural beauty. Note: After touring the Taj Mahal, the guide will take you to Agra Fort. Agra Fort
Agra Fort ( Red Fort ) is a historical fort in the city of Agra, and also known as Agra's Red Fort. Mughal emperor Humayun was crowned at this fort. It was later renovated by the Mughal emperor Akbar from 1565 and the present day structure was completed in 1573. It served as the main residence of the rulers of the Mughal dynasty until 1638, when the capital was shifted from Agra to Delhi. It was also known as the "LalQila" or "Qila Akbari" Before being captured by the British, the last Indian rulers to have occupied it were the Marathas. In 1983, The Agra fort was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of its importance during the Mughal Dynasty. Note: After visiting the Agra Fort or during the tour if the traveller wishes to Eat Lunch then the guide will take you to a good quality & hygienic restaurant for eating .

Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah is a Mughal mausoleum in the city of Agra . Often described as a "jewel box", sometimes called the "Baby Taj", the tomb of I'timād-ud-Daulah is often regarded as a draft of the Taj Mahal. The mausoleum was commissioned by Nur Jahan, the wife of Jahangir, for her father Mirza Ghiyas Beg, originally a Persian Amir in exile, who had been given the title of Itimad-ud-Daulah . Mirza Ghiyas Beg was also the grandfather of Mumtaz Mahal, the wife of the emperor Shah Jahan, responsible for the construction of the Taj Mahal.

Perfect Taj Mahal Experience - Sunrise, Sunset & 100% Flexibility
I honestly can’t recommend Kishor enough. From start to finish, this was one of the smoothest and most enjoyable travel experiences I’ve had. My trip started on Tuesday with the drive to Agra, where I got to see the Taj Mahal at sunset – which was already incredible. But the real highlight was coming back again the next morning for sunrise. Seeing it in both atmospheres made the whole experience unforgettable. What really sets Kishor apart is his flexibility and attitude. He completely adapted the schedule to my preferences and was 100% flexible with timing, which made the trip feel relaxed instead of rushed. There was never any pressure – just a smooth, well-organized experience tailored exactly to what I wanted. On top of that, Kishor was extremely helpful with everything beyond the tour itself. Made My Entire Trip Smooth, Safe and Unforgettable
I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better driver for my trip through India. From the very first moment, I felt completely safe, taken care of and supported. He was always punctual, reliable and incredibly professional, but at the same time warm, kind and genuinely interested in making my experience the best possible. His English is excellent and very easy to understand, which made communication effortless throughout the entire journey. What really stood out to me is that he always goes the extra mile. Whether it was adjusting plans, helping with recommendations, organizing things on the go or simply making sure I was comfortable at all times – nothing ever felt like too much. Especially as a solo female traveler, feeling safe is everything – and with him I felt completely at ease the entire time. Looking back, having him as my driver was one of the best decisions of this whole trip. I can recommend him 100% without any hesitation. If you are planning a trip in India – book him.
