    Your adventure begins at 10:30 a.m. with pickup from your hotel, bus terminal or airport in Uyuni. The first stop is the iconic Train Cemetery, a place full of history where ancient 19th century locomotives rest in the middle of the highlands, creating a perfect setting for unique photographs.

    Then, you will visit Colchani, a small town where you will get to know the artisan process of salt. Here you can see how locals extract, dry and process salt, as well as explore craft shops made with this mineral.

    The journey continues to the impressive Salar de Uyuni, where you will enter this vast white expanse that seems endless. During the tour you will visit the famous Ojos de Sal, small natural fountains of salt water that emerge from inside the salt flat. You will also explore a Salt Hotel turned museum, built entirely of salt blocks, where you will learn more about the history and peculiarities of this unique environment. Later on, you will find the colorful sector of the World Flags and the imposing Dakar Rally Monument, symbols of the international connection of this destination. During the afternoon, you will have time to enjoy lunch (picnic type) in the middle of the salt flat, surrounded by a surreal landscape. The tour includes a stop at the famous Salt Staircase, ideal for panoramic perspectives and creative photography.

  4. Isla Incahuasi

    Afterwards, you will head towards the spectacular Incahuasi Island, located in the middle of the salt flat. This island is covered with giant cacti and ancient coral formations, offering breathtaking views of the infinite surroundings. The island has a visitor service point managed by the association of municipalities of Llica and Tahua, jurisdictions to which this territory belongs. In this place, you are asked, optionally, to pay a fee of 30 bolivianos to enter a clearly marked and easy to travel path. This trail allows you to cross the island while you can see stunning landscapes of the salt flat, the intense blue of the sky and the large number of cacti that inhabit the area. (In the rainy season, from January to March, access to Incahuasi Island IS NOT POSSIBLE due to high water accumulation.)

    Finally, you will live one of the most magical moments of the tour: the sunset in the Salar de Uyuni.
