1. Sultan Qaboos Mosque

   The Sultan Qaboos Mosque is one of Salalah’s most beautiful landmarks, known for its elegant architecture, peaceful atmosphere, and impressive twin minarets. Non-Muslim visitors are welcome to enter, explore the courtyard, admire the interiors, and take photos—as long as they avoid kissing or romantic poses, and dress respectfully. Inside, visitors will see a spacious prayer hall decorated with intricate chandeliers, colorful carpets, and fine Islamic geometric designs. The mosque’s white exterior, carved arches, and quiet surroundings make it a perfect place for calm reflection and memorable photographs. 2. Salalah

   You’ll enjoy a peaceful drive through palm-lined streets, coconut groves, and beautifully landscaped avenues. Along the way, you’ll get a glimpse of daily Omani life,locals shopping, small markets, and traditional homes—offering an authentic sense of Salalah’s culture and charm. 3. Borj Al Askar

   Burj al-Askar (also known as Taqah Fort) is a historic 19th-century watchtower located on an elevated position above the coastal town of Taqah in the Dhofar Governorate, Oman. It was originally used for coastal defense and to house the soldiers who served the governor (Wali) residing at the nearby Taqah Castle.

4. Taqah View Point

   Taqah Cliff is a high, dramatic rocky viewpoint rising at the far end of Taqah Beach. From the top, visitors can enjoy wide panoramic views of the Arabian Sea, the coastline, Taqah City, and even the distant edges of Salalah. It’s an excellent location for photography and capturing the natural beauty of Dhofar. Please note that the cliff edge is very steep, so visitors should keep a safe distance from the edge while enjoying the scenery.

5. Wadi Darbat

   From Taqah, it takes about 20–25 minutes to reach Wadi Darbat, one of Dhofar’s most beautiful natural valleys. As you drive into the mountains, you’ll see green landscapes, grazing camels, and peaceful open views. At the wadi, you can enjoy calm waters, fresh mountain air, and lush scenery. Visitors may also take an optional 20-minute boat ride along the tranquil river or simply relax and enjoy the natural surroundings of this stunning valley.
