    Not Worth It

Initially we were attending for the experience but figured we’d go for the platinum experience because the gentleman was convincing about the experience and gains. Found out about additional charges upon arrival. Parking was an additional charge and not literal valet.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback. We truly value each guest's opinion as it helps us improve. We would like to clarify a few important points regarding your experience: Firstly, the parking service is not operated by us, but rather by an independent third party entirely unrelated to our business. Any charges associated with that parking service do not go to us. Additionally, there are public streets nearby where guests can park freely, and we are always happy to suggest these alternatives. Regarding the taxes, these are clearly itemized on your ticket, as required by law, and are not hidden charges. We take pride in being transparent and professional with all pricing details provided in a timely and clear manner. As for the Platinum Experience upgrade, it is completely optional and was offered to enhance your visit. Our team is trained to provide all relevant information respectfully and without pressure, and we strive to do so with the highest level of professionalism. We’re sorry if any aspect of your visit did not meet your expectations, but we assure you that all information was communicated accurately, professionally, and in good faith. We appreciate your visit and your feedback. Best regards,

    Amazing vacations

I had an incredible time on the Catamaran to Isla Mujeres in Cancun! From start to finish everything was excellent. The service from the agency, pickup and team was top notch - super friendly and professional. I felt very comfortable the entire time. The refreshments were perfect, the buffet was delicious, and the beach club was absolutely unique. The snorkeling and the entire tour were just amazing. They even gave me a ride back to my hotel afterwards, which was very convenient. Overall I had a fantastic time, I was very happy and would definitely do it again.

    Excellent

The catamaran and snorkeling experience in Cancun was simply unforgettable. From the start, the staff was friendly and attentive, creating a fun and relaxed atmosphere. The views of the Caribbean Sea with its crystal-clear waters were magical, and exploring the reefs full of marine life while snorkeling was incredible, always with guides ensuring our safety. Onboard, we enjoyed music, drinks, and a great vibe. To make the most of it, I recommend bringing biodegradable sunscreen, a swimsuit, towel, extra water, and a waterproof camera to capture every moment. It’s an experience I would absolutely do again!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We're thrilled to hear you enjoyed the catamaran tour and snorkeling adventure. Our team works hard to provide warm, attentive service and create a fun, relaxed atmosphere, so it’s great to know we hit the mark. We totally agree—the Mexican Caribbean is truly magical. Thanks as well for the helpful tips for future guests! We’d be delighted to welcome you back for another unforgettable experience soon

It's worth it; the boat, the crew, the animation of the best

Despite not having very good weather, the crew made us have a lot of fun; which is appreciated, the place to eat, delicious

Response from the operator: ¡Muchas gracias por tu comentario!

Sail Away Catamaran Day Trip with Snorkeling to Isla Mujeres: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cancun.

How much does Sail Away Catamaran Day Trip with Snorkeling to Isla Mujeres cost?

    +

Prices start at $36 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cancun usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Sail Away Catamaran Day Trip with Snorkeling to Isla Mujeres take?

    +

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cancun is not rushed.

Is Sail Away Catamaran Day Trip with Snorkeling to Isla Mujeres worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cancun, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Sail Away Catamaran Day Trip with Snorkeling to Isla Mujeres?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Sail Away Catamaran Day Trip with Snorkeling to Isla Mujeres suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Sail Away Catamaran Day Trip with Snorkeling to Isla Mujeres?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cancun can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cancun and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Sail Away Catamaran Day Trip with Snorkeling to Isla Mujeres start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cancun within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cancun?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cancun experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Early Access to Chichen Itza All Inclusive with Valladolid and Cenote Swim, Whale Shark Tour from Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Riviera Maya, Small-Group 3 Hidden Cenotes Adventure with Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cancun?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cancun?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
